I was at PVH nearly 7 years ago (2017) and it changed my life. As other reviews have alluded to, Recovery is what you make of it. You have to do it for YOU, nobody else. If you come in with a closed mind and aren't truly ready and willing to be clean/sober, you're not going to benefit from any form of rehab center, outpatient program, or community support (AA, NA, CA, Celebrate Recovery, etc...)

When I entered PVH, I was desperate to stop drinking and using. I was willing to go to any lengths for my sobriety. Therefore, the treatment and programs were invaluable.

The staff truly want to help and most are recovering from substance abuse themselves. This, along with my peers helped me feel like I wasn't alone in wanting to get healthier.

Again, if you're not ready, nothing is going to help. But if you truly want to get clean/sober, and are invested in learning solutions (to addiction as well as everyday life), PVH is a fabulous place to start!

This place does not care about the whole person and if you break their minor rules they will kick you out. They expect perfect behavior for someone struggling with addiction and give no help with behavior issues. If you're not a perfect person going into recovery, this is not the place for you. Parker Valley Hope, please consider looking at the WHOLE person and not just your rules. You have probably set my loved one on a journey of destruction instead of recovery.

I just left Parker Valley Hope. I couldn't have went to a better place. The staff are so loving and so professional. I thought I was going to a place where rude nurses would be shoving medication down your throat. I was wrong. Everyone, from the nurses, counselors, kitchen staff, admissions, directors, and even the lady from Kansas that stayed on the phone with me and called me back the next day to make sure I was okay. She helped me make sure I went to Parker Valley Hope.

Almost everyone left a different person. It's not a cure, though. It's up to us to use the tools and what we've learned to push forward in "Life on life's terms".

I highly recommend this place. I wish the best for everyone. God bless us all. With that, I'll take another 24.

Going to drop you guys a couple of stars. I don't know what is up, but, I feel abandoned from this program after leaving. I'm still sober from my DOC. I haven't received no e-mails from what I signed up for. I've called the facility and others related to the facility and I feel like they are avoiding me. I'll be going to get my cup for my year of leaving that place. Don't even know if they'll even invite me to speak.

If they are just leaving you hanging, like me, don't give up the fight. Fight for your sobriety. You're worth it, even though many people may not want know how you are doing.

Parker Valley Hope alienates family and promotes unhealthy relationships with recovering addicts. They do not do anything to ensure that there is not inappropriate activities between patients. My husband started sleeping with other girls while he was there not to mention 4 other people I know have had the same experience or issue. Yes they have substantial amount of classes but then they are left to their own devices. It is not hard for them to get outside substances either. No one that I know who has attended there has been successful in their recovery. Waste of money, time, and again away from the support of family.

I myself went to Parker Valley 23 years ago It was my fourth treatment center. And I've been sober ever since . Treatment was good. But I think it's up to the individual .

An unbelievable life changing and eye opening experience. I'm 6 months clean and sober and have everyone at this facility to thank and be greatful for. From top to bottom the counselors, nurses, case managers, front desk, cooks, intake professionals, chaplains and all staff members at this beautiful location have completely opened my eyes again and changed my life. I live now because these beautiful people teaching and guiding me to live and love everything life has to offer. If you need help this is where home can be for awhile and help guide you!!! I cannot say enough for how greatful I am to come to this center to help save me!!!
