Mapleton Post Acute

This facility is an absolute nightmare from the Don to the techs. It is ran like a highschool drama class. People if you care about your loved ones, look elsewhere in putting them, they will not get the adequate care and attention here from where the staff is ALWAYS BEING RAN OFF when we get good nurses.

The staff at Mapleton are truly excellent, providing top-notch care for their patients. The dedication and professionalism of the team are commendable, from the top of leadership to laundry! I highly recommend Mapleton Post Acute for anyone seeking exceptional care. Five stars all the way!

I would rather give this a no-star. I was sent to this facility from an acute rehab on Friday January 19th. I didn't stay. I left as quickly as I could. The bathroom was not wheelchair accessible. It was not handicapped accessible, what wouldn't even come into compliance with the ADA. Handrails to far forward not next to the toilet. A plastic riser on top of the toilet. That's not stable. The room was divided in half with a wall, two patients to reside in. One side was bigger than the other. There was a wall between the two sides that had a window in it and was covered with curtains on each side. On my side of the room which was much smaller, The curtain was coming off of the curtain rod and hanging. The bed had no side rails on it, it was too narrow for me. There was no oxygen for me. I understand that the building is old but it is not well maintained in my view . The building even smelled old. The owner assured me that Even though the building was old, she had good staff and it was a clean building but it really wasn't. Given the neighborhood and quality of the building, the way the bathroom was and the bed all kinds of alarms went off in my head and I got out of there. I did not feel safe.

There are always smiling faces - from both the residents and the staff. I feel welcomed when I go visit. Management changed about a year ago and there are many positive changes with more to come!

Beautiful garden for the residents to enjoy! A lot of love and time went into this!

All of the staff were helpful and so kind and the bed side manner for the residents and patients is exquisite! 10 out of 10!
