My father came to Woodbine for rehabilitation after a fall. He was functioning very close to his pre-fall baseline, but our family thought dedicated physical therapy 5 times per week would only make him that much stronger before he returned to his assisted living facility. In our communications with the therapy team we were told that my father was receiving 5 days of occupational and physical therapy, walking with a walker and using the toilet with assistance. When we visited with him we noticed that his clothing was often soiled and smelled of urine (they definitely were not laundering clothing on a regular weekly basis). The caregivers were also surprised when we would walk him to the bathroom - stating that they changed him in his bed. Even though he was receiving occupational therapy for assisted toileting, the care team was not encouraging him to use the toilet or even aware that toileting should be the default for his care. My father ultimately contracted Covid-19 at Woodbine and went back into hospitalization. So, instead of receiving rehabilitation at Woodbine, his health was further compromised.

The nursing, therapy, and social worker team put on a well-practiced act of making incoming families feel like their loved one is in good hands. However, the care plan the skilled team promises is never fully implemented because there is no continuity of care between the skilled team and the daily caregivers. Families do not be mislead by the fact that this facility has a decent Google rating. Do not send your loved one here or to any other facilities that are part of Marquis Health Consulting Services.

Patient Beryl Hall just arrived last night. She is happy, loved her breakfast — a pancake with a slice of ham, and also loved the welcome note, menu, etc. She tried to watch a bit of tv last night and says she had it very low, but the man who shared her room yelled at her to turn it off, but oh well. As a visitor, I liked the easy check-in process and how fresh everything looked, art on the walls and also the very nice staff.

My cousin has been at Woodbine Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for one week and three days. The staff at the center are extremely passionate about caring for their patients. After my cousin's appointment, they followed up to make sure she was okay. Not only one, but two staff members checked in with her. Woodbine Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is the place to be.

It was, as always, a lovely experience to visit with our daughter. The staff was pleasant and friendly, and all performing their work efficiently and effectively, and with dedication. The facility was clean and attractive. Thank you for everything that you do to bring comfort to the patients and their family.

That CNA‘s and nurses(Lucy Esther Nadia) They were outstanding, but the facility itself is terrible. I had stains on my bed which were stains and holes in my sheets, which I brought to the CNA attention and she changed them went above and beyond the call of duty she made my enjoyable that was the only plus I was told by the staff that you could only take a shower two days a week which my room was Tuesday and Fridays unacceptable. I took a shower every day with the help of Lucy housekeeping service the therapist that I worked with they were great. But the time that I was told 30 minutes would be 15 minutes the food awful. I was so glad to get out of that place. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough would I recommend this facility? No, I will not but my Nurses and CNA and therapist who oversee me I would recommend their services only. I also want to say activities that was planned. I don’t remember her name, but she was wonderful and I did enjoy the event while I was there management to do a better job in the dining room At the front desk, me and another resident heard the nurses at the Front Desk getting into the altercation cussing each other out that was not professional. An excellent facility! Very professionals. From top to bottom! So caring with patients patient gets well in no time. They are all dedicated on what they are doing. They make the patient feel comfortable also the visitors . It is a welcoming and healing place. The facility is also clean.
I recommend Woodbine strongly to whoever wants need their professional help .

I was at Woodbine for over two months, and some things were good and some bad. The food is terrible! The CNA’s are understaffed and take a long time to respond to patients. I’d especially like to recognize Jeannette and Melissa on days and Chris on nights for the quick care I got from them. Most of the nurses were very nice and I particularly remember Danielle as always happy. As for PT and OT, the staff was generally good especially Abigail, Jade and Lisa. I did not feel that Woodbine was as clean as I thought it should be, but the main thing is their lack of staff. I have been contacted by the housekeeping manager and he stated that the rooms were not cleaned more thoroughly because the staff would not get the patients out of the rooms, which is true.

This place is disgusting. Foreign workers don’t give a damn about anyone. Negligent, careless and incompetent!! My mother has been declining ever since she moved there. I have to tell them my mother needs to go to the hospital and they try to convince her not to. Only for us to get to the ER and they tell us she is very sick. Almost sepsis . I have video of the nurses making mockery of my mother . There have been instances when my mom would call at 4 in the afternoon complaining that they haven’t given her meds for the day. Nurses are rude, with nasty attitudes . DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES IN THIS PLACE !!
