I went to visit a dear friend today. It's a beautiful facility. I called first to confirm she was a patient there. Very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, the same person gave me her room number and explained how to sign in/out. The room seemed very clean. I heard them calling Bingo as I was leaving. I called my friend from the parking lot and told her she should ask someone to bring her down so she could play. She loves Bingo.

Great Team work from staff members, with residence, (family member), I was visiting. Upon my visit, the psychologist came in, physical therapist, & nurse. All greeted the resident and explained what they were there for. I witnessed excellent communication with the resident, making sure they understood their reason/ assignment there, and what was going to take place next. I also noticed after a few sessions of physical therapy, the resident is now able to help turn themselves to their side. Kudos to the physical therapy team. Keep up the great work!

Our family has been so impressed with this facility. Everybody is so nice and helpful. The food is good. The P.T. Staff is amazingfor my Mom!! I’m so happy with everything here during this difficult time with my mom’s condition. She has stage 4 bone cancer.

The facility was extremely clean!!!! My family member got excellent care and attention in the beauty salon. An Aid came off his lunch break to assist my family member to the chair. Makes you feel that each and every resident is truly cared for.

I was a visitor today and was really
impressed with the facility. It was bright,clean, and cheerful. I only got to see one staff who came in to get the tray but she was very friendly. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I have both parents at Del Mar. The staff and administrative team are second to none. They have helped my mom get through several health issues as well. They have worked very hard to keep them both engaged mentally and emotionally. I would HIGHLY suggest Del Mar to anyone considering making the difficult decision of moving their loved one into a facility.

The facility is outstanding in condition, appearance, amenities, and rehabilitation space. While most of the nursing staff are competent, there are a few exceptions. Nurse Dinah and CNA Carol have gone above and beyond in caring for my wife. Both exhibit a calm assurance only years of experience can bring. However, not all of the nursing staff have demonstrated proficiency in their craft. Her schedule for feeding is from 2:00 pm to 10:00 am. There have been two instances of misreading the feeding schedule for my wife, 10:00 pm to 2:00 am. This reduced her feeding from 20 hours to 4 hours. I also noted the protective cap for the feeding input line not installed leaving it open to the environment.

The rehabilitation team led by Kurt Frank has also done an outstanding job guiding my wife in her recovery journey. While she still has a long way to go, I can look back over the week and a half we’ve been here and see tremendous progress.

Cheryl from Speech Therapy and Charles from Wound Care have also contributed to my wife’s progress.

Beautiful facility and always clean. Staff do their best to handle a full house with professionalism and consideration for the patients' well being.
If the patient's rooms could smell as wonderful as the front lobby and initial hallways, that would be amazing!
