Amazing rehab facility!!! I learned so much from my time here that I will carry for life. My therapist Emily was wonderful, knowledgeable, understanding, and kept it 100!!! My psychiatrist Cece also did a great job listening to what my needs were. If I could live there I would. Such a lovely experience that I’m glad it was part of recovery journey!

This place is an absolute joke. Last week they qualified a loved ones insurance. We drove her across the state, got her checked in and set up. Now just a few days into her care they are telling us that her insurance isn’t gonna cover it. Ultimately they telling us too bad so sad. It takes a lot of courage for someone to seek help. And now she’s being told sorry we can’t help. I find this really unprofessional, and now what. My friend is across the state , doesn’t know anyone, and is being kicked to the curb so to speak.

Great experience. Jodi, Dr. G and Jamie were awesome (among many other staff) highly recommend. Very helpful with my plans for leaving and aftercare. Spend at least 30 days here (more if you can!)

One year ago, June 28th, 2023, I checked myself into The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake. I was broken, scared and didn’t have one answer - other than I needed help.
I was beyond sick and tired of being sick and tired.
After my 41 day stay, I walked out the door feeling alive again. I was happy again. Feeling again. The education I received still leaves me feeling so very grateful. You have to bust your tail in here - if you want it.
The warmth. The understanding. The guidance. The pushes and nudges.
I think about every person that helped me on my sobriety path in there.. they became “my people.”
I couldn’t think of a better way to end this day….to recognize and pay my sincere gratitude and respects to the wonderful people who make Palmer Lake what it is. One year later… I AM STILL SOBER?.

This is a great place to go I just got discharge on July 5 2023 I spent 38 days. The staff and therapist and counselor are amazing they helped me alot in my journey when , I first walk in I didn't know what to expect I was scared and nervous but afterward it helped me into my sobriety iam glad that I checked myself in Here it takes alot of courage to wiling to change not for loved ones but mainly yourself great place I really recommend it.

After much searching, this place agreed to admit my loved one. Drove 4 hours to make our appointment only to be told upon arrival they would not admit him. We were told he needed a higher level of care. Ok, so what does that mean and where can we go? They told me to Google it and promptly went back inside and left us sitting on their curb. No help, no suggestions, just left us there. The most cold and unprofessional business I have ever encountered. 1 week later I found another facility on my own, that admitted him. When things work out it is God's plan. When they don't, it is God's protection. Thank goodness God protected us from this awful place.

This is not my first go ‘round at a recovery center so I absolutely mean this when I say: This is THE BEST place I have ever gone. So much so that I plan to work the ENTIRE program. Every single staff member from the directors, therapists, medical, BHT’s, chefs and janitorial workers is just astounding. I’ve never felt safer and truly heard. This program is incredibly informative and I’ve already learned so much. Thank you, PLR for being amazing!!

I had an intake appointment for today at 5 PM. I have been to the facility before. The Admissions specialist Told me I was approved and then they denied me on an erroneous claim. I’m out $200 for a plane ticket and still have no place for treatment. The facility that was supposed to follow up with me did not. Would give them 0 stars if possible. Terrible performance and a terrible thing to do to someone seeking recovery.
