Today was my mom’s first day being admitted to this facility. I loved how attentive the staff was to taking care of my mother’s needs. Will and Sasha met her needs and let us know as family members they would be taking good care of her. My granddaughter who is 6 years was excited to see that there is an arts and crafts room located near her great grandma’s room ?. I left knowing and feeling that my mom was in good hands when we are not there.

Grandpa had surgery just this week and is in a lot of pain, the nurse that was assigned to him at Cordera was not gentle at all even though it says on his door that multiple people need to help him get up. Terrible bedside manner. I knew someone else that stayed here and it was very lovely so I think the facility itself is good quality, but this experience hasn’t been very professional. I’m sure a few nurses are having a bad week which is fine but please don’t take it out on patients. We shouldn’t feel nervous about leaving him in your hands.

I was there 2 weeks after breaking my hip. Really liked the PT guys but only spent about 30-45 minutes a day and then in my room. The food was not very good, usually cold by the time I got it. My main complaint: I was ready to go home and felt intimidated by a case manager (my original manager was nowhere to be found). I was told if the doctor (whom I saw for about 1-2 minutes a couple of times) didn't approve i would be responsible for entire cost. He told me I should stay another day and do a final thing with PT to make sure I could do okay at home but when I asked PT about it, he didn't know what I was talking about. I felt they only wanted me to stay so they got paid.

My mother in law was a patient at Cordera and received such caring and professional care that I cannot say enough positive things about the facility. Everyone went out of their way to give her the help she needed.

It is difficult to elaborate the despair and little hope I had when my mother was transferred from Penrose St. Francis hospital to the Center at Cordera . She had stopped eating, she was incontinent. She could barely walk and the pain from her diabetic neuropathy was causing havoc to her frail body. The care and compassion she received at this hospital for more than a hundred days and the recovery my mother has experienced is truly miraculous.. I was there everyday, two to three times a day and witnessed first hand the level of care provided to my dear mother and all the other patients as I walked the hallways…
My mother and I got to know and love everybody at this amazing facility.. She was malnourished and John the dietitian saw to it to devise a meal plan to improve her health., Our wound nurse, Kristine had my mother’s diabetic pressure wounds healed in a month, Bret and his team of Physical therapists Darvish, , Jordan, Brandon and others healed my mom to the point she no longer needs a walker.. The occupational therapists like Layna & Julie were also integral to my mother’s cognitive recovery.. I would see the transport team, Jennifer and Derrick, that initially brought us there, and they kindly always inquired about the status of my mom every time they saw me on property. Her room was kept immaculate by Shawna and other members of housekeeping.. Darren and all the administrative staff treated us with dignity and were always available to address any concerns or questions that arose during her lengthy recuperation
Lastly, what can I say about the dedicated Nurses and CNAs that with the utmost skill and compassion, I truly believe saved my mother’s life!!!! I was there for more than 3 months with my mom and they became like family to us, I could list at least 20 to 30 more names.. After more than 100 days, They were also kind enough to sign a farewell card for my mother. On behalf of my mother and I . God Bless you all!!! Randy & Margarita ( MAMA) Rodriguez

I was there for 2 weeks and got exceptional care/rehab from broken hip and shoulder. Food was good, hated rehab lol, nurses great, especially maria. I would recommend this over the 1st place I was sent, the Resort.

Great care for a newly diagnosed diabetes patient with a broken arm. Pt/OT/speech therapists took care to accomodate the many challenges to get on the road to recovery, with great food.
