My mother's partner and best friend had a stroke and went to St Anthony's for rehab When he left the hospital he was only able to say 3 words which was garbled right upper extremity flaccid on pureed diet .Two weeks at St Anthony's he is independent with activities of daily living , meal prep with minimal supervision regular diet and his able to have verbal conversation despite his speech is still a challenge . We can only give credit to God and to the Interdisciplinary team at ST Anthony's including the hospital liaison and Unit secretary who took time out to answer our question even though it was Labor day after 4pm My mom is a Health Care Provider and said this is one of the best team she has experience both physically and psychosocially . Thanks TEAM ST ANTHONY'S you are our 5 STAR

My father suffered a stroke and was eventually transferred to St. Anthony's after 2 weeks in the hospital. He was at St. Anthony's for 2 weeks. The facility is clean and most importantly is the staff. The security guards at the gate were always very kind and polite. The nurses... OMG the nurses are unbelievably kind and so thorough in everything they do. They treated my father with kindness and respect even though there was a language barrier, they never brushed him off or neglected him AT ALL. Bernadette was an absolute angel. They assisted him in everything because he isn't too mobile on his left side after the stroke. The therapist were also so great. My dad is now able to walk with a quad cane, he is able to open and close his left hand and the improvement with the therapy was incredible. The social worker was also very kind and looked into everything for him. I give this place 5 stars, A+ and would recommend it to anyone that has a loved one that may need therapy. Thank you St. Anthony's for looking after my dad.

Unfortunately your services were a lot far from my expectations, I could even affirm for everyone's expectations.
The check-in was caotic but the check-out was a disaster, I was there 18 days and during that time I saw the case manager only once, when she brought the paper work for me to sign to send to the insurance and for her to complete the discharge, I told her I would need some time read what I needed to sign, even her dislike she left the paper work for me to read, when she came back for the documents I told her the things listed in those documents were not true so I will not sign those documents until they were fixed, which never happened I did not see the documents and by the date of discharge she was not even working on premises she called me but she didn't even had a response why I did not see/sign the documents she had to send to the insurance.
I think her response was totally unprofessional, totally out of ethic and, disrespectful.
This was like the cherry on the ice cream, for the service I would need to separate nursing & PT; about nursing in general I could say I will never use or recommend the place not even to my enemies, if anyone want to know better just let me know, I could talk in deep and and even support the experience with pictures & videos.
Talking about PT, need to separate PT. OT, and ST.
ST & PT were very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable what & how they were doing, sadly the 2 therapists I was seeing regularly were not asked for their report, that's what they told me.
About OT I think he wanted for me to do things he either didn't know or didn't have the training to do, and during a session I even refused to repeat something he wanted for me to do but after first time unfortunately only created more much pain in the lower back and legs, my perception was that he were doing things out of his scope of practice, and even not safe, he did not use the safe belt regularly, again my perception about my own experience.
In general I never had idea how my next day was going to be, never received an schedule at least to even know what time I would need to be ready for the therapy, more than once they came for me and I just had woke up, or was having breakfast. On weekends I could not even say it in case somebody wanted to visit, the last weekend I didn't have any therapy and I only knew it when the weekend was gone.
You have my name and information,I am open to respond any questions, I have the support for many unfortunate moments, I could even find the support for them to pay me the charger for the apple pen I use with my iPad after one of the many pain crisis when my legs started jumping with no control everything that was in the table fell out luckily the iPad fell on the bed but the charger disappeared since then, nobody helped about this either

The therapists at this acute rehab facility are excellent. Laurie, the Speech Therapist gets an A+++ for personality and competence. Our family member could not have achieved the post-stroke gains he has if he had not started out there after discharge from the hospital. Reayal, the Case Manager, was exceptional; he consistently put the patient’s well-being first. He epitomizes the very essence of family-centered care. I am very disappointed to learn that he is no longer with St. Anthony’s because he provided the cohesiveness that made the experience great. I pray that, in his absence, they maintain the very high standard he set.

My experience with this facility was exceptional. My 91 year old mother was admitted after hip replacement surgery. Since she has dementia and I lived in a different city, it was critical that I was updated on her condition on a regular basis.
Raeyel, who was her case manager, reported to me regularly and answered my texts promptly no matter what time I contacted him.
They coordinated her surgeons visits and worked with the medical transport company that I chose to have her seamlessly transported to a facility in my location.
The facility is clean and calming and mom had the therapy she needed to heal quickly.
These folks pay attention to detail and know what they are doing.

Last week I went to visit a neighbor who had just been transferred to that center and no one knew of his presence there at the entrance or in the lobby. I had to call him on the phone to be told which room he was in. Yesterday, Sunday, I went to see him and he was not in his room and nobody knew where he was. He was in the downtown chapel after the mass ended, we took him back to his room and he had to wait 40 minutes for a nurse to come and help him lie down in bed.
