My experience at Sea Pines was a very pleasant one. Everybody there tried to make your stay as positive as it could be. The food was better than average, and there were choices. The nursing staff was always pleasant, cheerful, and there to help you. Therapist were, absolutely the best there are there attitude towards you was fantastic. They wanted you to succeed in getting better and being able to take care of yourself . I never had that much personal attention from OT or PT in any other facility that I’ve ever been in. Sea Pines is by far the very best that anybody could hope for whether it’s for themselves or for a family member. I appreciate you so very much, may God bless you and your chosen professions and personal lives also. You are very much needed. All I can say is kudos kudos kudos

My mom was a patient at Sea Pines for 2 weeks after a major neck spinal surgery with complications at 85 years old. I have experience working in traditional rehabilitation facilities, but this was my first experience with a rehabilitation hospital. I was impressed from day 1 & throughout the stay with everyone- case manager, speech therapists, physical/occupational therapists, in-house physician, receptionist, unit secretary & nursing care team. Is it perfect? No, there are no perfect places, however, the facility was clean, people kind, treatment plans strong & communication clear/frequent. Response time to call light a little delayed during busy shift times, but attention was focused on my mom when answered & didn’t rush her. My mom improved dramatically because of the team at Sea Pines. I will be forever grateful!

Our experience here was excellent. The staff are extremely dedicated and caring. The facilities are clean and well tended to. One staff member that deserves to be celebrated is Susan who works at the front desk. She is the most caring, compassionate Woman who has forever impacted our experience. We are so grateful to her. She truly is an Angel. I highly recommend Sea Pines.

The most incredible care I've ever received anywhere. I've been in the hospital over 240 days in the last 12 years in 12 different facilities. The nursing staff was off the chart. The pharmacist came in your room at check in, which resulted in no medicine mistakes. The team of doctors were the same as I had before and fantastic. Unlike other places around here they read your chart and had meetings about you to make a plan of care. The food was even pretty good. Great job from the top down.

Dealing with my uncle being in sea pines was the first experience I've had with an in patient facility outside of myself working in one. The staff was the best part of this place. But the overall care was concerning. I was there almost daily to see/help him & every single time him & his clothes smelled bad from urine. He was unable to use the bathroom on his own so there was assistance. If an accident happened he should have been changed, not left to sit with it. His 2 different roommates family members had the same complaint.

This place has the most nonsensical admission process I've ever had the misfortune of enduring. If you make it by their flunky admission staff the rehab part is quality. You might die trying to get admitted but if you can survive the wait, stress, and inept admin staff you might have a shot at rehabilitating. Don't hold your breath. My mother died while I appealed insurance to get her admitted. Sea Pines called the day following her death to give me the great news that she was accepted and she won her appeal. I explained they were too late and she passed away. They couldn’t care less.

I do not have one complaint… Nursing staff and assistants were professional and caring… emphasis on the caring… I certainly did not feel like just another patient rolling thru.. Interactions were first based on medical need with a personal interactive touch..”. i felt seen and hesrd…
Some patients are trying to say the least. I listened to staff interact with them and I heard the same consideration and care… Impressive…
Food was trully a surprise… Quite tasty…
OT/PT… professional, competent, and encouraging all the way… I took my first steps in days at Sea Pines…Ill never forget your expertise…
Overall…I would absolutely point to Sea Pines for Rehabilitation …
I must say when discharged I was a little teary eyed not because of emotion but with gratitude…

The nurses are very good. It’s the Doctors you need to keep an eye on. Sea Pines falsely diagnosed my wife with “COVID” after she was already diagnosed with pneumonia at the hospital. The tests purposely are coming back 96% false positive EVERYWHERE! Pneumonia symptoms and they unnecessarily added 10 days of isolation to my wife’s stay which really discouraged her. Most doctors do know crap about Virology. ITS ALL FAKE! Everyone needs to know that the PCR machines do not give a diagnosis, the doctor does. So whenever they say you have “COVID”, it’s a false diagnosis or lie to collect CDC reimbursement money. If you’re still on the fence about COVID, it’s time to step down and face the reality of peer review and what’s really going on.
