⭐️⭐️ DOWNGRADING my review to 2 stars.

Come after the end of your workday for a swim.

Good luck splashing and maneuvering in one of the pool's 3 open lanes among a dozen or so other people, when an attendant comes out and announces that your lane is now closed due to someone's 'swimming lessons' and 'please use the remaining two lanes only'.

If you enjoy feeling like a sardine in a can, the JCC swimming pool is just for you. As for me, I will quit immediately when the new upcoming community center opens in the neighborhood.

Lebovic Community Center does offer a decent range of amenities for quality leisure time. However, a few quirks make it hard to give more than three stars. For instance, there’s absolutely no trial period available. Even if some family members already have a membership, there’s no way for another to try the pool or fitness center once to see if it's worth it. It’s either pay up or get out. No trial, no exceptions.

The membership management is peculiar, to say the least. One family member gets added, and suddenly, another’s membership gets canceled. Of course, you only find this out when they’re denied entry. Sorting this out eats up a lot of time.

A few months ago, some genius decided to line the only access driveway to the main entrance with traffic cones. The driveway comfortably fits two cars side by side. The right lane was always used for pick-up/drop-off - cars would stop, drop off or pick up passengers, and leave in a few minutes. Meanwhile, the left lane was constantly moving since this driveway is also the ONLY access to the underground parking. But the genuis thought it was a bright idea to block the right lane with traffic cones. Now it’s always empty, cars can’t access it, and it’s utterly useless.

As a result, the remaining single lane is often a chaotic bottleneck, worse than anything you’d see in Bangladesh. People trying to drop off or pick up passengers and those heading to the underground garage are all crammed into one lane. It’s a nightmare. You can’t drop off passengers properly, and reaching the garage is a mess - everything is jammed! All that’s missing is a “no passing” sign for the cherry on top.

Very good value and easy sign up process and fair pricing. Lots of space classes outdoor pool. The only things I would suggest are
1. Outdoor hot tub definitely have the space for it even 2 of them.
2. towel service would be ideal but cannot complain for the price I think you can pay extra to have towel service just not sure its worth the $20 or $30 extra per month.

I have been a member at this gym for almost 2 years now, and I believe there is a lot of room for improvement. Despite being designated for adult members, the gym is often filled with teenagers. During summer, winter break, and March break, the gym is crowded with elementary-aged children participating in camps and other programs, creating an environment that feels and sounds like a school recess. While the classes offered are fantastic, they tend to fill up quickly. For instance, Alin's class is very popular, and securing a spot requires registering on the app. The spots become available at 8 AM, and they are typically filled within minutes. This can be frustrating for members who are unable to attend popular classes due to space limitations. Additionally, the showers are outdated and are in need of improvement.

Overall, it seems that this facility prioritizes profit over the needs of its monthly gym members. Camps and swimming classes take precedence over member lane swims and gym time. Despite reaching out to the management via email, there has been no resolution to these issues. I will continue my membership here because of the convenient location, but I hope that the concerns of the members are taken more seriously and addressed.

There is no place like it, especially for our Jewish community, but is also welcoming to all. The staff is exceptional, the facilities are the cleanest I’ve seen, the services, amenities, and equipment are modern, widely varied, and well kept. This team is always looking to improve their offerings and does their best to please. My family and friends are all members and I continue to make new and wonderful acquaintances. I’ve been there from the beginning and intend to stay.

Pretty good facilities and amenities for gym members. I love that they offer an indoor and outdoor pool. Classes are also very nice, and staff are always helpful. Its a very small gym, so not recommended for any intense gym goers.

Went to the JCC today to renew my gym membership. Upon arrival, I was informed my favorite custodian Ben Aharon was terminated. In the past when I actively attended the gym, Ben Aharon gave me great advice in regards to proper gym etiquette. Ben was so dedicated and determined that he would practice push ups behind the counter to give me a strong sense of motivation. Although they were assisted push ups, it was greatly appreciated nonetheless. I will not renew my memberships until Ben is hired back.
