I’ve loved coming to Sage for infrared saunas for the last few years (clean, convenient, easy to schedule) but I recently booked a massage with Pearl and wow! game changer. She was so talented that I ended up extending my appointment to the full 90 minutes. Highly intuitive and knowledgeable body worker. Simply the best massage I’ve ever had in my life. I am so looking forward to working with her again - what an absolute Queen.

Sage Float Spa in Santa Cruz is a one-of-a-kind relaxation oasis that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and transformative experience. From the moment you walk through the door, you are transported into a serene and calming environment that allows you to disconnect from the outside world and completely unwind.
The spa offers a range of services, but their signature offering is float therapy, which involves floating in a specially designed tank filled with warm salt water. It sounds simple, but the experience is truly remarkable. As you float weightlessly in the tank, your muscles relax and tensions melt away while your mind clears and enters into a state of deep relaxation.
The staff at Sage Float Spa are friendly and knowledgeable. They take time to explain the process of float therapy and answer any questions you may have before guiding you to your private room where you will find everything you need for your session - including earplugs, towels, showering amenities, and even soap made in-house.
It's difficult to put into words how amazing the feeling of complete weightlessness is. After my session at Sage Float Spa, I felt recharged both physically and mentally. My stress levels had lowered significantly and it was as if I could think more clearly than before.
Don’t forget to check and come at there happy hour time is it cuts the cost nearly in half! Happy floating!

The cold plunge had jets in the huge bath tub, it was a little more than I was expecting with the water moving. The Light Spa was better than expected. My massage was only 30-45 minutes, the masseuse stated I was late, even though I had only come upstairs and used the restroom from being in my cold plunge. So as a result she only barely gave me a back rub. Disappointing! I finished with a float, it was a bit more labor intensive than I expected. Having to open and close the lid, prop it open with a floatie that smelled moldy, I could not get the music to turn off or up to hear it , or the jets off. I was given a brief overview before going in, however I don’t think there was a way to contact an operator/staff once inside the room. The “staff” around the facility seemed like I was interrupting their day somehow. Not the best experience for $275… I think I’ll try the at home DIY and save myself the anxiety. Save your $$ go to the beach!

I spontaneously booked an appointment with Justin one day and didn’t regret it. In 50 minutes, he gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. He asked the right questions beforehand and checked how I was doing throughout, making me feel comfortable and cared for. The room was a bit stuffy but very relaxing and pleasant.

My only mistake was not hydrating enough before the appointment, which caused me to have flu-like symptoms for the rest of the day. This was in no way anyone’s fault except my own, but I wanted to mention it for those who do things on a whim, like me. I quickly learned how vital hydration is before and after the massage.

I called back the following day to speak with Justin about pre and post-massage recommendations but was met with a hesitant receptionist. She said she would talk to him when he arrived and that he might be able to call me back. She ended up calling me back much later to relay what he said. I think the massage therapist should address the client, but I appreciate the response from the business nonetheless.

They also have saunas and float tanks, which I have not tried yet. The ample parking lot is another bonus. Overall, the experience will bring me back again for massages and other services.

My girlfriend and I both got an 80 minute massage and felt lucky after walking out. The massage therapists are so well at their job that we both almost fell asleep twice. We walked out feeling like we had just taken the best nap of our life but full of energy. My back and feet pain was alleviated. I will definitely return back and possibly consider the CBD treatment, definitely worth the money.

Everything you need for a good float is there. Instructions were very clear.
Consider bringing your own flip-flops. You have to take off your shoes at the lobby and they don't give you anything instead.

A clean facility with lots of beautiful plants, was easy to book online and nice friendly staff. The store has some retail products of bath salts, CBD creams and oils.
