I had a phenomenal experience at the rehabilitation hospital at Bowie. Absolutely everyone was wonderful – – nurses, technicians, PTs and OTs, housekeeping, front desk, personnel, the chef, the person delivering meals. physicians, administrators – – everyone was so kind and cheerful and encouraging. I truly felt like I was staying at a very fancy hotel! With the most wonderful benefit of getting better! The spirit of the place is amazing. I have been at other rehabs visiting people, and there is absolutely no comparison. I highly recommend it!

This is great facility that gave us a warm welcome and took great care of my wife while she stayed there. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable in their duties and I felt they made a difference in my wife regaining some of her abilities and some sense of normalcy after a prolonged hospital stay. I shared with them our plans once discharged and they provided the care and therapy to make that successful. As a visitor, I felt welcomed and supported as a caregiver, many staff calling me by name. Encompass Bowie is just a year old and recently opened its own dialysis unit. This simplified my wife’s care and enhanced her ability to benefit from the treatments she received . I’d highly recommend this facility for all patients requiring acute rehabilitation.

I would Highly Recommend this rehabilitation facility to anyone who has a need based on my personal experience as a patient who was transferred to this facility from the BWMC. All of the staff were very welcoming from the time I was wheeled in the doors. I was greeted with warm sincere smiles from the first day of my arrival until the day of my discharge in April of 2024. The entire staff treated me with the utmost care and respect. I Never felt neglected by any of the staff. They all were patient, friendly, kind and they really seemed to care about all of the patients in the facility and they make you feel special. The therapist worked with you to help to you to be the best that you can be. They help to encourage you along with your therapy. The facility is so fresh and clean and the rooms are very spacious as well. I have No complaints about the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bowie. Again, I Highly Recommend this Rehabilitation Facility.

The service and quality of the staff made me feel as if I was I. “Heaven” (but not before my time!) The staff provided very special care, and their bedside manner was impeccable. I truly felt like I was being well taken care of by professional and qualified staff.

This applies to their doctors, nurses, nutritionist, techs and cleaning staff.

I truly hope I am never in a position to need an acute rehab facility, but if I ever am, I would want to receive care at this facility again.

From the very beginning of my stay here, whether it concerned the Doctors or care management, or the nurses and technicians my care was absolutely taken care of and done so expediently. As far as my OT/PT caregivers I can’t say enough good things about them, they went above and beyond for my care. Gave me many great tips on doing things that wouldn’t hurt me, and simply worked with me to make everything easier for me. Definitely worth all the push and pull reinforcement.

Encompass Rehab facility in Bowie MD is an excellent facility and staffed with very loving and caring, professionals who give their all and all to their patients. I spent 10 days there. Encompass is the very best! Five Stars for me!! Every member of the encompass staff was incredibly professional, loving, caring, and empathetic.

I had extensive back fusion surgery. I was fortunate enough to have been able to do rehab at Encompass for two weeks. The facility is immaculate and state of the art. All of the staff at this amazing facility went above and beyond assisting in my needs and my rehab. All who came into my room entered with a smile on their face and always there to see if I needed anything. The OTs and PTs worked so well with me during my rehab sessions. I had three hours each day of therapy.

Although all of the nurses and nurse techs were wonderful, I want to reach out and recognize one of my nurse techs individually. I want to say a special thank you to Kisha Hudson. On the days that she was there we looked forward to each time she came into our room. She had a way of making you feel very special and always happy with a big smile on her face. She is a very unique person and I was so happy to have met her while I was there.

Best acute hospital for therapy. All the staff from doctor to nurses to therapists to the techs to the food service and even the administration. I want to give a 10/10 please don't be afraid to send your loved ones here for acute rehabilitation. This place and all the staff are wonderful.
