My loved one recently came out of PHP at ReCreate. I can’t say enough about how thrilled I am that he went to this facility. This was his first time at detox and then a 30 day program and I am so thankful he chose to go there.
I am actively participating in the Wednesday evening zoom meetings for families and haven’t missed one since February ! Christina and Dave make you WANT to come back, it’s that friendly, laid back, and comfortable paired with a whole bunch of knowledge. Of course the other families stories are very relatable and make dealing with my loved ones substance use disorder a little bit easier day by day.

My recommendation would be to go to the proven leader of addiction treatment - Hazelden Betty ford in Center City, Minnesota. Hazelden sits on 500+ acres on a lake, with tons of walking trails. The Deere eat apples right out of your hands. They sort out individuals and categorize them based upon their age and profession, placing them in what are called units. You will be assessed and evaluated by skilled RN’s and MD’s on a locked down observation unit until you are medically cleared so you aren’t in a room with someone who is passed the detoxification process. Eric Clapton, Elton John, Lizzy Osborn came here for a reason. Full access to your phone, laptop and freedom to walkout side when you please and attend groups at your own discretion. They have LGBTQ+ groups, medical professional groups etc. The silver spoon of healthcare is in Minnesota! Get you some Midwest love! Such a magical experience at Hazelden.

Recreate changed my life forever...because of them I have the necessary tools to take on life...life as a sober woman, mom, daughter, and sister. The experience was once in a lifetime and everyone involved cared so much. I've made life long friendships and life long lessons learned. This place is 5 star status.
