I highly recommend this facility if seeking treatment for alcohol addiction. My partner and i both went here. They are caring, attentive and they truly want to help anyone struggling with addiction. We are extremely happy to be sober with the help of RCA. It works if you work it!

Fantastic and very clean facility with friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff. Intake process went quickly and smoothly. Two person rooms with two tvs per room. Plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. Quality food. Nursing staff can get pretty busy but do their best to make you comfortable. The best part is the staff keep you busy! Active alumni group is testament to the success of the program. It works!

Most of the staff was in recovery themselves plus they are super helpful and the in house meetings everyday were great. This was my 4th rehab and as far as rehab goes they were the best. Food was great too.

Well, first of all I did my homework because I really wanted help and wanted to be clean! This place advertises fishing, outdoor activities, time in the gym, which is all fraudulent advertising! The only “nature” time we had was a 10 minute cigarette break every few hours! The classes consisted of the same counselor reading packets for 5 hours a day or watching a movie. I seen my therapist 1 time and repeatedly asked for a family session and was repeatedly told he didn’t know how to do that but he would find out! It never happened of course! I must say the icing on the cake was when I went to leave, they had lost $160.00 worth of my contacts along with some other small things and no one seamed to care! I was basically told “get over it”! My insurance had just paid for those, so of course they are not going to cover them again! I am not the first one to have stuff missing! I was told by 2 employees… it happens a lot! Obviously someone who works there is still practicing addict behavior and stealing residents stuff! They have all these cameras, you would think they would take the time to see who is stealing from people at the lowest point of their lives and do something about it! There were a few employees who actually cared about us and tried their hardest to do what they could! Mark (he’s a supervisor), Richard and Brooke ( their are techs) and Gladys and Nick ( they work medical). However, even tho the program itself was a joke, I got ALOT from the other residents there! That was my therapy, we helped each other out! My brother went to rehab at the same time same place. I’m happy to say we are both still clean and doing everything possible to stay that way. However, I wish I could say it was because of RCA, but that would be a lie and in recovery…. It’s all about honesty! Thanks for your time, Jama Bales

I used Google reviews when I was choosing a place for treatment, and if you are, too, here are some things you should really know before going to this RCA location.

Positives: facilities are up to date and clean. The food is also generally good compared to other places. They have a beautiful space outback with amenities, but more on that later...

Negatives: the biggest issue facing this RCA location is staffing, or lack there of. At any given time, there were only 2-3 staff members on site for 60+ patients. Multiple staff put in their 2 week's notice while I was there, and I don't blame them! Most are working double (16 hour) shifts days in a row.
Because of the staffing issues, some classes/groups never had a leader or were outright canceled. I'm guessing this also has an impact on outdoor activities. There was literally no time to use the amenities they advertise.
You are only given 2 10-minute phone calls a week, which often get canceled for no reason. You also have to sign up an entire week beforehand for the calls.
No outside food is allowed in the facility, and with the exception of a small 10pm "snack", any other snacks must be purchased from a vending machine using pre-purchased wrist bands.
Cigarettes and vapes are confiscated after every break and held in a locked closet. This, in turn, causes your 15 minute breaks to be shortened to 7 minutes or less with the amount of time it takes for the staff to give out your smokes/vapes.
Like any place, there are staff that really care (Tyrone was great), but also a lot of staff that were just there for a paycheck. I'm sure they're burnt out, too. Rules seemed to change on the daily. Your wrist band is scanned 50+ times/day, and with 1-2 staff members scanning 60+ people that many times - well, you do the math.
All these issues were brought up to staff and management on MULTIPLE occasions, but nothing was ever changed due to the "board of directors", who have obviously never been to a treatment center before. To be honest, it felt like a minimum security prison. As I said on more than one occasion to staff, you treat us like prisoners, we're going to act and think like prisoners. We all found ways to skirt the rules (since there isn't enough staff to keep an eye on everyone anyway).

This location could EASILY be a better treatment center with simple changes that are the norm for most other treatment centers. But honestly, it doesn't seem they're willing to change. I don't see them staying open much longer.

Second time at RCA and what an experience. I left there knowing so much more on continuing my recovery. The staff is absolutely AMAZING. I am so grateful for RCA. The daily groups opened my eyes to so much about myself and my drinking. Sam and Mike led the groups in the most amazing way. I will have 60 days sober 3/13/24. I attend AA and alumni meetings. The fellowship and love from everyone at RCA is wonderful. I now have the tools to continue my sobriety because of everyone at the facility. I cannot thank them enough. I love RCA and the caring staff. Thank you

RCA is trying to double dip me on my bill. Told me I’d have to pay $2500. 18 months later after paying that……they want $3500 more. Even after telling me I had a zero balance. Looks like they’re pulling similar scams to the RCCA out in Mass. Can’t get anyone to call me back and no one answers the phone.

It all starts with this place. One minute your struggling and your life is falling apart, the next you look back at them days and grow stronger and stronger like you've never imagined all because of the day you stepped in those doors. These people are intelligent and caring and couldn't thank them enough for helping me when I needed it. I have the strength because I've made the connection to people I relate to. They will forever be a part of my life, and I know they'll always be there for me when I need them.
