I had such a great experience with Glenn here at the Positive Recovery Center. He made me feel welcome from day one. The smaller group settings felt comfortable and provided a safe space to be able to speak up about my recovery journey. I learned a lot and was able to make real world connections with a lot of great people. The schedule is flexible and the combination of group sessions and one on one time with a counselor is very beneficial. I honestly think that anyone that gives this place a try is going to be able to find genuine help and hopefully learn a ton of skills to help them along their own path to sobriety.

I went through PRC back in 2021. It was my first stay in treatment since I had moved to Houston. I’ve got nothing to say but great things about this place! They follow the Minnesota model which is the best in my opinion. Such a great place! The counselors were amazing. Glen Carosella in particular helped me a lot. Although he wasn’t my assigned counselor, he was the first counselor to really get me to open up. It was evident to me that his role was more than just a job to him. Then I learned later that he was in recovery himself. I felt myself really engaged in the groups, especially when Glen was leading them, and I love that Dr Powers got his masters in Positive Psychology.
