My mother was a patient there for 2 weeks. We were displeased with many things there. Her release date was Oct 11.
She was admitted on a Friday. No rehab Friday, Saturday or Sunday. What's the point in being there if you're not getting rehab? She's also vegetarian. It took them 5 days to get her meals right and STILL made mistakes regularly. One day they brought her peas and carrots as a meal. Really? Would you feed your mother that as a meal? I think not. I even talked to the person over the kitchen and told her how displeased we were in the meals she was receiving. She brought my mom a salad....a small one. Also instances of lukewarm coffee, no sugar or cream. No salt or pepper. Just ridiculous how inept the staff seemed on these issues. It just felt like they didn't care.
Next is the length of time they left my mother sitting on the toilet. 45 minutes! Absolutely unacceptable. She was pretty upset about that situation.
Also there were problems with her meds. They were not giving her what she was prescribed. I had an argument with a nurse who proceeded to tell me it was at the discretion of the nurse whether she wanted to administer the medication. I had a fit!!! I retorted so you're telling me nurses can supercede the doctors orders?!?! She's didn't like that question. My family aren't idiots and are pretty well- versed in the protocol. Magically she got her medication that night however it wasn't on a regular basis.
Lastly we all had observed people standing around chit-chatting when the lights above the doors were flashing. My mother observed 2 ladies sitting at the desk gluing baby blue press on nails during their shift. Completely unprofessional.
They only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one was for Felicia who was tremendously helpful, communicated regularly and was an asset to us.
Seriously yall need to do better.

This place is a god sent. After my stroke i thought my life was over. The staff, nurses, PT, OT and Speech therapist are awesome. They all treated me like family. I love all of you.

So overall my experience at this rehab was amazing from staff to my therapist to name a few with the techs starting with the one I met first Mrs. Belinda, Rhonda, Mrs. Terry, Shanika, Ms. Cat, Ms. Saffiya, Dominique, Ava , Chance morning techs these are the wonderful people who had to feed me the ones I knew meant business when they came in. All of them were amazing so sweet so kind I wish I could have taken them all ? my night techs Meka, Attania, Charity, Danielle they knew all I wanted was a shower and I wasn’t bothering them no more unless I needed pain pills . The nurses Ms. Pam and Mrs. Chasity one word GREAT, I could say more but they always understood the assignment I may have forgotten some but charge it to my mind never my heart ❤️ an overall amazing staff they are 5/5 highly recommend !! Now on to my therapist starting with physical therapy taji (forgive me if I spelled wrong) she was tough but I loved it she knew I wanted it . My occupational therapist Sarah with a H at the end was also sweet I surprised her cause I was asking for more and more weight lol and last but certainly not least my speech therapist Rebekah aww man she was amazing she worked so hard with me . We talked As well And she really wanted me to get my speech together with all they did with me I expect to use everything to better myself. The overall downfall of this establishment was the dietary! Coming from a former dietary aide and cook ,!They really dropped the ball! Only reason I gave the rehab 4 stars

This place was absolutely a blessing. From the greeting upon arrival , daily therapy , to departure. I was made better physically, mentally, and got closer to my maker. Everyone wears a sign make me feel special. And they did just that. I never had to find my nurse my tech or my therapist. PT / OT the best. Doris and Larry a personal thank you. Wing D My nurses Dre and other's. You're the Best. My unselfish PCT Ava, Safiyyah, My snack lady love you. My casemanager Lula and nurses station always professional and beautiful spirit. Thank you Methodist Rehabilitation Center. I got more than what I came for. I'm better because I came your way.

I'm a little late with this review but wanted to share some of my experiences at MRH.
It was absolutely wonderful. The staff was amazing. Dominique Johnson was my tech for multiple days and she an absolute ROCKSTAR. VERY hard working individual. Tajii Alexi, Floyd, were all fantastic. As well as Sarah and Alex.
Unfortunately, I can't remember everyone's names(brain surgery) will do that to you lol.
Anyways I enjoyed my time there. I would definitely recommend MRH to anyone needing Physical Rehab

The team here at Methodist Rehabilitation took me in and changed my whole out look on life.made me feel like part of the family here." Most of all " Tagii &Sarah They are the best at what they do,kept me on my toes would not let me give up.You see I was not much for religion but, something happen during my stay here.The nurses, therapist, kitchen help even the ones sweeping and mopping floors have put some religion in my life. I can go home with some hope in my life. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart I would not have made it with out each and everyone of you. Thank you.

They were okay until they gave my father the wrong medication. The next day the nurse was nowhere to be found. At lease the nurse was the one who called regarding the error. She said that someone else gave her the medication to give my father. She obviously didn't check the order. Be careful.
