This might have been a decent place years ago, but our experience from may-June 2024 was terrible. Nursing staff spent most of their time sitting on their phones. Call buttons were ignored for as long as an hour. Food was mediocre at best. Care such as assistance with showers was almost nonexistent. Patient fell twice because staff wasn’t assisting them as needed. Diabetes management was absolute minimum required. Staff had frequent loud conversations about how they didn’t want to be there and too many people responded to requests with “that’s not my job, I’ll try to get someone for you” even for the simplest things. If a loved one has to stay- be sure to visit everyday and you might receive slightly better service- but we did not.

Melbourne Terrace is professional with compassionate care. They truly listen to the patient and their family. From the nurses, to the CNA’s, to administration their empathy, knowledge, and communication is unrivaled. THE PLACE FOR MOM!!

This is the best rehab in the area. I have a lot of experience with hospitals and rehab facilities and by far this facility goes the distance. The staff was friendly and courteous as well as accommodating. The physical therapist were knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with my family member. The nursing staff by far is the highlight of this place, they were prompt and well informed. I never had any problem getting information or anything else that was required. I highly recommend to anyone considering rehab.

My wife fell in January with a nasty broken right arm. She needed Physical and Occupational Therapy Rehab to regain mobility and use of her right hand and arm. Melbourne Terrace Rehab Center provided excellent care for her. She was housed in a very pleasant room. The meals were quite tasty. I enjoyed evening meals during my visits. The Therapy was quite extensive every day. I would recommend Melbourne Terrace for those needing rehabilitation. I am confident Melbourne Terrace will provide excellent care for their patients.

BEWARE! My Mom was in after she broke her hip. The physical therapist was the only thing that was good here. She was amazing but that’s where it ended. MANY times we came and she had been lying in her own urine and feces ALL NIGHT! She said she had asked multiple times to get up to go to the bathroom (she was required to have assistance getting out of bed). The nurses told her she was fine and one was even mean to her. Then we found out that the therapist had released her two weeks earlier!!!! They were keeping her there due as long as they could bill Medicare, even though she was fine to go home!!!!! They are money hungry and don’t care about the patients. Keep an eye on your loved ones!!!!

My mom was placed here after a long stay in the hospital. She was There for over two weeks And Never Washed Her Hair! Only one bed bath! Over 2 weeks are you kidding me? I feel so bad for the patients all laying in bed. And. All you can smell is urine. This facility is way understaffed. (it used to be a decent facility, but it has gone down severely). my mom liked a couple of the caregivers. But I would not recommend this place to anyone!

My family had a wonderful experience with this facility, (not once but twice). Aside from the facility itself being beautiful and well kept, the staff is really great; specifically Julie Marpoe. She went above and beyond to make sure that every detail of my father's stay and care was perfect. This was very much appreciated!
