This place is amazing from the housekeeping staff, nurses and administrative staff. My mom is always clean and the facility is always clean. The food they serve is loved by the patients.

Whenever I visit my momma (a resident) at Manassas Health & Rehab she always tells me how much she loves it there. That the food is good, just like her grandmother used to make at home. She says it’s peaceful and quiet. She’s happy and content there. Whenever she gets sick or falls ( which she does sometimes) they give me a call letting me know, and that she’s ok. I appreciate everyone and everything that they do for my momma.

Mom was here 5 years ago after an illness, and now she's back after another hospital stay. Now, just as it was then, the staff have all been excellent. Warm, friendly, accommodating...... I feel completely at ease leaving Mom in their care.

Manassas H&R is a nice place for mom. As a daughter, I always want mom to be happy, but her disease makes it impossible for me to provide for her needs. She’s lived there for 4 years, comfortably. All of the staff is caring and knowledgeable about her needs. Staff meets with me monthly, understanding and addressing my concerns. I enjoy the time when I am able to visit, and I am able to take care of myself instead of worry whether she’s ok. If you’re unable to flow with the unpredictability of a parent with dementia or Alzheimer’s, this is a very caring solution for you and your parent(s). I’d like to give a shout out to all the staff I’ve been blessed to know by name, but it is a great team there. Everyone is wonderful.

These 5 stars are only for TWO people at this facility. Dee being the first most worthy of this five star review. Sherry, she's a close second--love her to death-- but in the words of Ricky Bobby, "If you ain't first, you're last..."

But in all seriousness, Dee is the head of admissions and Sherry is my case manager here at this facility, and they may give me a hard time--but it's well deserved. Meanwhile, they go above and beyond to accommodate me and my family through this process of my recovery. I started out in a bad way...I wasn't easy to deal with nor aware of my behaviors. I couldn't walk. I couldn't remember how long I've been here. Now, I know Sherry and Dee, and they're two names I will never forget--I also visit them daily now. They frequently visit, check on me, and communicate with every member of my family, and they keep everyone on the same page. I'm not the happiest to be here but I'm happy to have them on my team. When I've pressed for something to get done, it gets /done.

However, this five star review is more for the people behind the scenes: Remotes for TVs are scarce, the batteries are non-existent, and the food sucks-- but the people here to care for us have their hearts in the right place. Times may get tough, but Dee and Sherry work their hardest to make it that much better.

Our mother has been there for about 2 and a half weeks. The admission staff was so kind and caring during the process and made the transition of our mothers move easy. The nursing staff are so sweet to our mother and really take care of her like she was family. The social workers there check in with all the residents daily and get to know who they are. We really did not know what to expect specially since the facility she transfered from was not very good. We understand with staff shortages and things like are big right now but we couldn't be more happy with everyone there. We will update as more time passes but we are happy with the way our mother is cared for. It really takes special kind of person to do a stressful job like this. May God bless them 10 folds.
