Patients smoking pot and “other white powdery things.” If you complain about the staff that sit on their butts and talk badly about everyone there, they take revenge. The nursing directors were completely hands off, filthiest place I’ve ever worked at. Just gross. I couldn’t eat lunch when I was there because I was so grossed out by everything I had no appetite. This was from insect droppings as well as mice droppings and the horrific hygiene from badly cared for patients.

As a former employee of Kiowa and as a former staff that actually cares , I can say with 100% certainty that no person should live here. As a Maintenance worker I can say that the facility knew of and ignored the asbestos. I know this for a fact bc the administration told me not to start any"big" projects bc they didn't want me to disturb the asbestos. I worked there for 2 years, and dealt with some.e of the most disturbing things anyone can possibly imagine. The mice.....yes they are and have been there. Management would only ho as far as to set out traps. Nothing further. I seriously plead with the community and ask that you do not let these people take care of your lives ones.

I'm seeing the responses left by management, and to say they are full of it is an understatement.
Supposedly they "found" asbestos in a construction project....lmao I was told on day 1 ,3 years ago btw , not to start any large projects due to the asbestos. So.....

I actually enjoyed it there the staff that's down the Earth they will make you smile and treats you as family I will probably be returning sooner or later very happy with the results with my Rehabilitation I have been home now for a year and a half but with Parkinson's disease I may return back there because my condition is getting worse

The entire staff was so friendly & helpful with everything. I could really feel the energy and culture radiating through each of the staff members I encountered. They are truly what sealed the deal for me having such a great experience during my visit. 10 STARS!

I heard this facility finally closed due to asbestos. The management team knew about this for weeks prior to construction finding out. The kitchen and serving area is full of dead mice and mouse droppings. State has been notified and I hope for all families and residents involved this building is demolished and taken over by proper management

If it wasn't for 1 new person here that actually tried help, I'd give it 0 stars! My father has been here for a little over a month. Every person I talk to gave me contradicting Information. Jamie had me on hold as she said she had someone in the office, put me on hold for 10min then hung up the phone. Called back multiple times to be told she left the office for the day. They refused to let my father go to his primary doctor that he had an appt with who he had seen a couple times since being there. They refused to let him go to the store with a friend. I called to speak to a manager or someone higher up and they placed me on hold for over 20 minutes. If you care about your loved one, definitely don't have them go here. My father said he feels like he's in jail and he'd rather be dead than be here so if that tells you anything about this place

The staff was wonderful and the experience changed my life. If you have family in any nursing home call them. I’ve tried sending my angel to ms marcellas daughter several times. The activities are excellent.

Been here for about a year now, I transferred from another facility and each day that goes by our team has the drive for a better facility. "happy staff happy residents", "working state ready," these are some of the things you will hear from the staff here. We are all committed to truly listening to our residents and making a better community and stay for them. I have the opportunity to be apart of this change, and I love to see how each day we are improving to fill the needs of our residents. We are offering listening ears with our residents with our ambassador programs and management going around and visiting residents on a daily basis. We have an upcoming game room for the residents, a blue room, poker night, nails every Friday. We are working with residents to see what activities are exciting for them. We are calling family members and tying to get them involved as well. We are trying to meet the needs of every resident here, resident by resident, and day by day.
