If I could leave negative stars I would. I am so hurt and disgusted at the negligence and lack of professionalism my family has experienced in dealing with Inspire Rehabilitation & Health Center.

I have never, ever left a Google review in my life but I am compelled to tell everyone I can about the horrors my loved one experienced at this so-called "health center".

My uncle has only been a resident for ONE MONTH.
Two weeks after he arrived we lost contact with him, he no longer phoned us, he stopped responding to messages. After several attempts we finally reached a staff member to inquire about my uncle. She said and I quote "Hmmm, I haven't seen him in about three days. I thought it was weird because I usually see him walking around and talking to people." THREE DAYS! This came from a member of the nursing staff who is assigned to my uncle.
THREE DAYS! That means for three days no one saw him, no one wondered why his food tray hadn't been touched, no one gave him his medicine, no one changed his incontinence undergarments, no one helped him bathe, nothing! He even has a roommate, I guess they just overlooked my uncle or they ignored two residents for THREE DAYS!

I'm going to skip a few things because this is already long enough - but - as of today October 9, 2024 - my uncle is in the ICU with a feeding tube, and is not responding to medicine. When he arrived at the hospital the doctors could tell that he had a stroke at some point during those THREE DAYS, was dehydrated, malnourished and developed pneumonia .

To make matters worse we still have not heard from ANYONE at Inspire Rehabilitation and Health Center. They have not offered an explanation or even inquired about how he is.

Please, if you care at all about your loved ones DO NOT take them to Inspire, and if they are already residents move them as quickly as you can.

We've obtained legal assistance and reported this place to the appropriate government agencies

I was treated immediately when during a visit. I became ill with hypoglycemia. The staff were caring and knew what to do to help me recover.

The experience at this facility so far has been good, the communication is not the best but it is workable. The staff for the most part are very friendly but it would help some of the patients if the language barrier wasn't so bad for some. Overall my family resident is being well cared for and has been in good spirits.

My grandmother was Inspire for 2 years, and the 2nd floor nurses are the cause of her bed sore; it's so big a fist can fit inside of it. I can't paint everyone with the same brush, but the majority of them Africans are stubborn, just going to say that. Kim is scared of them; she's the head nurse, Ms. Sherri gossips and listens as she chops medicine, and Ms. Eileen left my grandmother's diaper on her, and Night Shift had the diaper on so tight yesterday it rushed up. These people have a lawsuit coming. It's only a few nurses I can't say anything bad about, but them 3 and may other nurses that handle my grandmother did not do her right. My grandmother was walking when she first came up here. Social workers can do so much . Folks are not caring like they used to be. Depends on that caliber. My grandma had a stroke 2 weeks ago. Doctor Horwitz is the doctor there; he's not active like a doctor should be. My grandmother had white spots on her belly button, and the nurse says she didn't notice. I came there a few days later, and my grandmother's legs had swollen and her hands were really bad with fluid. Can you believe they've been there since 7 a.m., and I saw it when I arrived at 10 a.m., and the nurse claimed they saw nothing? Every time I was up there, the nurse asked me if I had a boyfriend and what time I was going to work, plus she told me I needed to have fun with a boyfriend, and my grandmother needed to understand.
and she told my grandmother I didn't need to be working so much. I come see my grandmother every day. I have been told by others how she doesn't change residents diapers. 1 nurse is always on board, so when I come there, they let my grandmother holler. Ms. Kim, the Korean director, let her African colleagues talk to her in any way. Kim, don't care; it's a nurse name Mosely, my grandmother said, snatched her hand, and Dawn was nasty to my grandmother (night shift crew , changing my grandmother diapers, having no patients). Night shift, do what ever. An African guy named Ola is nasty too. Tall darkskin African CNA. get impatient when my grandma couldn't swallow nor chew the pill. My grandmother has dementia. 2nd floor staff is trifling , its one nice sweet nurse that treated my grandmother nice shes down to earth . Heard first floor is great, not to mention race involved, but if a nurse doesn't match your energy, they'll mistreat residents. Heard first floor was American director. These foreigners are nasty. What goes around comes around. As much as I want to beat the hell out of these nurses because my grandmother was in pain and she left today to another facility.Punk nurses here on the 2nd floor..you reap what you sow. Another thing is that I speak 50 languages. I know they talk about me in their languages, and if I don't know a language, I have a translator. Not to mention Diane is fake too ; she wasn't trying to tell me who the nurse was that changed my grandmother's diaper yesterday. The owner or whomever needs to do something because my grandmother is not the same. I have pictures and evidence, and trust me, justice will be served. It used to be Jewish men that owned this place; I'm not sure if they still do or not. They didn't get my grandmother up knowing bed sores could occur not to mention other were too lazy to bathe her. These people will reap what they sow. I guarantee you when they get old and have to be in a nursing home reverse and have a taste of their own medicine. These are some jealous women to stare at me all the time saying to other ppl in the facility about me seeing my grandmother everyday, and so what that's my grandmother she raised me she will always b first pick and come first before anybody in mylife this woman took care of me and without her I wouldn't b the oldsoul I am today.
Due to 2nd floor staff my grandmother has 4 stage bedsore. Ms.Eileen aka Mama Ed took my kindness for weakness. She didn't change my gma diapers and the night shift had her diaper wrapped tight where it bruised her bikini area, Eileen is the reason for bedsores and I bet a few others. Karma has it

I want to express our gratitude on behalf of our family for the professionalism, care, and courtesy shown to us when we were visiting facilities to make a decision for our Brother who is recovering from a stroke. He was admitted to Inspire and we appreciate the care and services received from admissions, PT/OT/SPEECH therapy, nurse Manger and all of the 2nd floor team, maintenance and the social worker. We were very concerned as we have heard horrible stories about skilled nursing facilities. We are delighted that our experience was different in a positive way. Thank you!

I'm giving one star because that's the lowest I can give. I have a friend who has been in that nursing home for over 20 years. The conditions are deplorable. There is a rat hole in her room that has been there for years and not closed up. Many times, I visit her in her room. It's just pungent with the smell of human feces because she's just sitting in dirty diapers. Unable to care for herself because she's bedridden. The staff is not very organized or kind. I am sure they are overworked, nor are they trying their best to help or support her. But they are robbing her of human dignity. Denying her the fundamental human rights of having somewhere clean to be, having their bodies be washed and cleaned, and just knowing that there's someone there who cares to some extent to do their job the correct way.
