This place sucks.. as a fent user.. my drug test came back clean cuz they don't even test for fent on site - which is weird because all of heroin is now fent.. as has been for years.. if it's even fent at all anymore - who knows what we're doing.

Anyways.. this place has thin as hell pillows that have earwax on them still, thin blankets and ants. Comfort meds, who? I was left in a room with like 15-20 beds, alone.. they dont care if you eat, sleep or sit there and die. I understand detox isn't comfortable, but I would not go here, if you have other options. Go somewhere else!

very unprofessional I left early due to costs and insurance purposes and they couldn't even write me a letter for work just stating the dates I was there . Some staff are great but not alot highly recommend getting trapped in a basement of a serial killer than here !

Please do not choose to go here!! The staff are absolutely aweful. They treat you with no dignity and respect. I came in looking very bad, and out of an abusive relationship and the staff treated me like garbage. The residental rehab supervisor Elizabeth is a snob, and should not be working there. The support staff treat you like you are beneath them. The nursing supervisor is very arrogant, and favors the men. I left early and did not complete because of the horrendous way I was treated. For your own safety stay far away from any horizon!

My experience was from my early and mid twenties. I’ve since turned my life around fully and completely. I thought the staff was always very kind. They can be rather strict. You’ll have to wait a day or so for your comfort meds. Ie: Clonadine a (sedative) methocarbamol for (muscle spasms) Imodium for (stomach issues) and Abien (sleep aid) the only thing I really didn’t care for, was being woken up for blood pressure readings. When you’re in withdrawal or detoxing from something, it’s hard enough to get some sort of rest. It’s not supposed to be a comfortable fun experience. You’re there to detox and turn your life around. While I was there girls would try passing notes to me, I was there for one thing. Getting better. Period.

I went here for detox and it was disgusting. I was here for 4 days, they denied me meds and made me suffer throughout the entire night and next morning, there were nicotine patches and hair stuck to the walls of the shower, and i got scabies!! It was terrible! And my insurance didnt cover it so we had to pay like 900 dollars. This was horrible. Go to ecmc or out of state. And all the girls do here is chase the guys soon as they feel better and vice versa. Its sad and pathetic. Ill never go here again. Scabies? Come on!! Gross!

Ridiculously irrational rules stating you can only drop off 3 packs of cigarettes to the family member in your life who can't control his/her behavior despite the average stay is 30 days. They do allow them to call you everyday to ask for more cigarettes, creating an interuprtion in your busy life, no matter how far away you live, to bring addicts the most addictive subtance on the planet, nicotine.

Is your big facility too small to keep a carton or two in a locker? Or do you want family members to get frustrated with addicts family/support system?!

I'm sorry, but the logic the administration.. they must have been on drugs when they created the rules.
