I was post surgery with cauda equine syndrome. Unable to walk or manage my bathroom. JFK gave me hope. They cared for me like a human being. Cared for me physically and emotionally with kindness and efficiency. Excellent staff all around. The food was even really good. Can't say enough how well I was treated. Thank you JFK spinal rehab for your excellent staff.

Dr. Greiss, DO and Dr. Zubair, MD are amazing doctors, I highly recommend them. The nurses, physical therapist, and front desk staff on the Brain Trauma Unit are super. They are the only reasons I would ever recommend anyone here. While it is helpful to air a grievance on Google reviews, I feel that it is also best to outreach the patient experience department with an email, as I had to when I came across some staff that were not kind or very professional. Please do not shy away from advocating for yourself and your loved ones, and do it with kindness as it helps when you have to leave your loved one in the care of others.

I've been Here for about 2 Years. I've LOST MY PATIENCE with the Secretary/s They are Very Un Organized. I Will Call on a Monday they Won't get back to Me. I will Have to Call another 3 More times and They FINALLLY tell me I Need to Make a Doctors appointment. Who has time for BS like this? I'm Beyond Upset and Dissapointed with This Pain Management. This Totally Excludes Dr. Devoloux because He Truly Treats Me Wonderful, Hes A Friend, He Understands, Hes Kind. They Absolutely Need new People in their Office. Very Rude on Phone, Very Unorganized, and Very Irresponsible with Re Filling Medicine for Their Patients. [PAIN MANAGEMENT Section- Not Review for Hospital]

What can I say? This place gave me hope when no one else did for my mom. My mom improved with her mobility in matter of 4 weeks thanks to PT and OT. Big shout out to Kelly Kelly! (occupational therapist) for not giving up on my mom. Another big shout out to Gina (Physical Therapist) for always making my mom smile. You ladies worked miracles. My mom said she didn't feel alone because of her nurses and aides. Big shout out to Santiago and Corey for making my mom feel at home. (She misses you guys) Last but not least, HUGE shout out to the director of admissions - Diana! Thank you for always helping and hearing me out when no other place did.

The staff is usually nice but sometimes they're not nice and bad attitudes are like a virus there. Sometimes they harass you for masks and sometimes they do not. Most of the time they are Timely and treat you good. The entire facility is dominated by women and there are very few men sadly. The men that are there are typically very feminine but are generally nicer to work with than the females. As a man I'd prefer to have a man as a physical therapist as we understand each other's needs.

If I ever need to go back to a hospital for rehabilitation I'm definitely going to request 1st to come here . Hands down the best care since the start of my surgeries. I've had multiple surgeries over the corse of a few years and I have to say at JFK rehabilitation I've learned more about my health over the course of my stay that has helped me ask more questions and gain more confidence in my ability to just get around my own house. They paid attention to you and getting to know you. My favorite part when I had a moment of weakness i wanted to cry , Jennifer knew it and distracted me by asking something about nice and it made me smile because she knew I needed the distraction to keep going . I like that and appreciate it more then anything. It's the little things in recovery that keep pushing you ! They all do that! Management your team is Amazing ! Kudos!

I have received some of the best care from not only the rehab team but the nurses, doctors and staff throughout. So many to name I'll do my best to give a shout out from from room 1503 bed 1 Miss Chatty Pat and BED 2Miss Fun Red Crocs
