First City is incredible from the top down. Well organized group sessions, professional and friendly therapists, extremely helpful and resourceful case managers that care solely about your after care. The Techs truly care and want you only to be comfortable during the detox process. The facility is clean and very well taken care of. I truly believe that I have been set up for success in my recovery journey thanks to First City Recovery!!

I was so blessed to be able to come across First City when I was looking for someplace to go for treatment. Everyone of the staff was welcoming, professional, and you could tell that they took a genuine interest in the overall wellbeing of everyone that was there. The staff loved me until I was able to love myself. The facilities are very nice they make an effort to make you feel some of the comforts of home so that you don't feel like you are in a medical facility. The medical staff was amazing as well. They helped me to get stabilized on medication and were open to me giving input about concerns about different types of medications and side effects. Both the medical, and clinical professionals there allowed me to input on my goals for treatment and educated me on all of my options. Case management staff was absolutely amazing they went above and beyond to help me deal with insurance, short term disability, and even helped me to resolve legal issues that I had when I entered treatment. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for treatment or trying to find a treatment facility for a loved one to look no further than First City. They helped and supported me while I worked on my issues and got my life back together and I can never say thank you enough for everything they helped me to accomplish.

I came to First City Recovery Center to get help with my bipolar, BPD and OCD. It has been the greatest experience of my life. The food, the accommodations and everything related to living there was amazing.
My case manager, my therapist, the group facilitators, the techs and the chefs were beyond incredible. I highly recommend First City Recovery Center to anyone dealing with mental health issues and drug and alcohol addiction.

I would highly recommend First City! When I entered the program I was only doing so because of my family and had no intentions of remaining sober. From the minute I walked in I felt genuinely cared for with no judgment. I was given so much support and showed so much love that I wanted what these people had, which for most of them was long term sobriety. I was given the tools and learned about issues that I had had my whole life and these issues led to my addiction and feelings of being alone. I was called out on my BS and made to face my own lies to myself and to others. I was going in to do 6 days and completed my program at 92 days. The staff is just incredible. They loved me through my very rough detox that still amazes me to this day. I will forever be grateful for the kindness, care, compassion and love I was showed and how I learned to have these same qualities towards myself and others. Much love First City Recovery Center!

They sold me a fake dream. Lied to me about there condo and only gave me a day to figure out where to go. I need medication and they probably won't give me any and I'm Suboxone it's something you need and the way they are they want you to go without so you'll relapse

I was put out of the facility for being hungry
I asked the staff for food and I was told I was manipulating the staff for food even though the staff knew I didn’t have money or food to eat
The police were called and I was put in the street
I have a report to prove that my statement is not fraudulent
It’s sad that addiction is hard and that this facility has no compassion or grace to a client
To say I’m hurt is putting it lightly but I’m not upset just grateful to still be sober and to be able to share this experience because I would never want anyone to be treated this way
I’m praying that the leadership at First City Recovery Center will learn and grow from this event because kindness costs nothing!

This place really changed my life I loved everything about this place I felt very safe and like they really cared about my recovery they gave me all the tools that I needed to recover they really know how to get u to engage in your recovery the staff actually care for and love u til u can love yourself no matter what would recommend it to any one who really wants to recover or has a love one that is seeking out recovery and starting their life over and being truly clean

I was recently at this inpatient recovery center for my mental health and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly supportive and understanding, and the patients were equally amazing. The center provided me with the tools I needed to overcome my struggles and helped me get back on track. I can confidently say that this place saved my life. I would highly recommend this center to anyone who is struggling with their mental health and needs a safe and supportive environment to heal.
