I booked a 50 minute deep tissue massage for my husband as a gift. It was very easy to use their online scheduling and appoint a massage therapist who was available the same day. My husband had nothing but rave reviews for Laura and the spa-like quality of the cute Victorian house. He is looking forward to going back for a longer massage in the future.

I am a trained massage therapist and Essentia is where I go to receive my massages. The building is a gorgeous Victorian that is meticulously clean yet warm, cozy and welcoming. All of the staff is top notch, their practitioners are so well trained and all have their specialities. I spoke to them on the phone and they took the time to help me find the right match for my bodies needs which were met and exceeded. I highly recommend, you will be so happy you did!

Essentia has been my go to for years every 3-4 weeks, along with so many family members and friends. As I walk up the steps the scents invite me in to relax, each room beautifully decorated and warm. Kayla and all the Massage therapists take the time to ask prior to and during the session about areas of focus and pressure needed.

I had the 50 minute signature and it was lovely. The house they are in adds character and the rooms are large and relaxing. The music was a little different than a lot of traditional spas which was a nice change from the standard spa music. My back and shoulders felt new again after my time. The price is reasonable for the quality service.

My partner & I were left speechless and in a state of transcendence after receiving body work from Geoff & Bri. Essentia body therapy is the gold standard of what a wellness center should be! My partner & I were traveling up the coast & needed some r&r. Geoff’s name struck me as who I needed to see. I receive regular body work so I take who I see seriously because I deal with a chronic pain syndrome. In the wrong hands a massage can hurt me for weeks. Now post session I read his bio and I giggle because he is known for his body work in relieving chronic pain & his energetic healing abilities in which I felt throughout our entire session. My intuitive ability took the lead & I could just cry that his healing hands are many miles away from me now but I look forward to when I see him again. I’m so thankful to have met his beautiful calming energy & got to spend the rest of my trip feeling 100% and then some!

He said to me as he was getting his massage, he only hoped I was in the other room also receiving the most incredible massage of my life too ? He said it felt like she was absolutely magical!
