My mother has been in several nursing homes. This has been the best nursing homes so far they have been accommodating. All her needs very caring. Staff nurses are wonderful. Front desk is great. My Mom is enjoying it there. She loves it.

Staff and nurses were very friendly and helpful. They were sooooo wonderful with other patients, not just my brother. They really seemed like they enjoyed their job and interaction with the residents. Great bunch of people. I was visiting my brother who is in the memory care unit. This staff has their hands full but they absolutely did it with a smile and great attitude! The only thing I would really like to see at this facility is to make sure patients are given water. My brother never has anything to drink (especially water) when our family visits. We bring him drinks when we visit and I don’t think this is good at all. Not sure why they are not not given water frequently and daily.

This was my first experience in a nursing/ rehab facility. Except for the cleanliness, the good food, and the medication management, and the actual 'boots on the ground', I would NEVER recommend anyone come to this facility! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, the communication is so poor that I spent 20+ hours in the DEMENTIA ward without any assistance. I was only there for physical therapy and med mgmt! Don't go here!

My mother always looks good and well kept when I visit her. Her room looks clean too. The bathroom could use some attention though. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I just don't know what goes on behind closed doors (based on a lot of these reviews).

Not 100% happy with some things I see. As a person who works in Healthcare. I can see things that need addressing. Patient care should be No. 1, TOP PRIORITY... I see that working in a Nursing facility is not easy. But, one must have the patience and ❤️ love to care for these patients in need when family members can not.

Absolutely the most caring, professional and competent staff you could imagine. My family member was so well cared for by staff who are completely patient/resident focused. This is true for staff in every department including Unit Aides, Nursing, Social Work, Physical Therapy, and the Business Office. These incredible professionals understand the needs of the resident and their family members and do everything they can to assist you. Thank you, Elkton Nursing and Rehab!

I stopped in in a unscheduled visit
The staff members were professional and pleasant. Residence seemed to be in good spirits. Facility was kept Orderly And clean

I have been nelectively abused since day one. (I had thought only "neglected" until a "charge nurse" there used the "abuse" word to me. The State of Mary-Land doesn't believe in abuse so that word is useless to use with them so that I began using the "nelectively abused" phrase.) Still gets me no lawyer nor any other kind of attention due to their business is not to help anyone with anything - they in-take people, don't do anything to help them so that their business can grow. It is a form of the current I'll-health "medical" business. In addition to their above from-beginning HORRIBLE personal experience, I have come to believe in many different terrible issues about this business due to both personal bodily damages and visual/auditory events.
For me the business is entirely hazardous and quite unhealthy. In addition, in my opinion the business is mis-named as it is more of a prison; they have no incentive to help/assist anyone and they don't. From what I have experienced, I do not believe the company is in any way capable of any "rehab" or any other decent "physical therapy." (Again is my opinion, another reason, it is a dangerous business.) ....
