I would like to retract my statement about the coral Rehabilitation Center the owner David once he found out that I had an issue of stolen property he immediately had everything that was taken from me replaced and the the staff at this facility it's the best that you'll ever come across and this is a place you want to send your family member I enjoy but stay here and I can't say that for any other place that I have been in their care so I give it a five star and hope that you will check it out when you look for someone to place your family member.
And to David and his staff I would like to thank you for being the compassionate people that it's supposed to own and work at a place like this

I would like to let everybody know that anyone looking at this place to send their family to cannot trust this place to keep their families belonging safe an employee stole my phone and wallet and the facility would not make them be responsible for it or replace it. The nursing staff during the week is wonderful, and then you take care of you, but on the weekends and overnights, you're often forgotten in lights and are not answered when needed help for the patient. There is one person that works there her name is Mia she is wonderful person inside and out and she is a joy to have because she is the only person there that I know truly cares other than Ms Laverne Karma Miss Maryland and Miss Annette they are nurses and CNAs that took care of me while I'm here. The owner, David, is a person who has no compassion for people that are staying there it is just a money game thing for him. And I believe the same as for the administrator Dan because he has done nothing to have my phone and wallet and a driver's license and the money that was taken and doesn't care if it's replaced

I've had the pleasure and/or displeasure of staying at Coral twice. My first was a year ago last summer.
After a very serious infection I was sent to Coral for a round of IV antibiotics and rehab. The nursing was 50/50. They had some exceptional techs and nurses and some that were completely useless. I had diarrhea the first week I was there and would often have to call my family at home to call the nurse's station to come and clean me up because they didn't answer the call light for hours. The food was okay, but wasn't geared to my diabetic meal plan. This was not the facility for some who can't actively advocate for themselves.
The Therapy staff was wonderful. I went from being Hoyer lifted in and out of bed to walking with my walker out of the facility.
Which now brings me to my stay this summer. After another infection I needed a round of IV antibiotics. This time I chose Coral as I was also in need of more rehab. The Therapy continues to be top notch. I was very disappointed in the Administration. Promises that were made before my arrival were retracted after my admission. The Doctor flat out lied about switching one of medications. The nursing continued to be hit or miss. I believe my brief stay there led to me being readmitted to the hospital.

I wanted to take my time to give a review on how smoothly Nicole has made the admission process for my family and I.. This was something new for us and we had no clue on where to start. We are so grateful for choosing Coral and beyond happy that Nicole made us feel comfortable, and welcomed during our tour. She also kept us informed even on her days off she was available to answer our concerned questions!

This place is very bad and unsafe for your elderly family members I have my father in there in the memory wing with dementia and they have neglected him over the weeks and have allowed for his hygiene to become problematic the place is short handed and does not have the ability to care and provide the necessities and care one needs
The nurses do not do their job to make sure that he is clean and not laying in urine or feces i have walked in on numerous ocations and have complained and have found no help but excuses
Do not take your family memeber here to avoid mistreatment and this place should be shut down
I found old food hidden away and not knowing what was in there . My father will no longer be there but for you guys who have family members or looking for a place for them for their memory
Care do not bring them there its not safe

As my son's only caregiver, he went to Coral to give me some respite time. He's 39 years old, mentally disabled and has Parkinson's. He was only there for six days before I took him back home. Several times he was left to sit in his wheelchair over night. No one would come when he called for help. He has good and bad times during the day and one of the nurses accused him of faking since she would see him when he was feeling good enough to walk around. He was ignored and wasn't given his medication on time. Also, we paid for two weeks and are still waiting for a refund for the second week that he wasn't there. It's been over two months and I've made several calls to ask about it. On the last phone call, the lady who does the accounting said she was new but would look into it. This place was charging over $1,000 a week to sit him in a room and neglect him. I would never send him or anyone I know to Coral. The manager bragged about how wonderful her staff is and that she even put her own aunt in the facility. I pointed out to her that the fact that her own aunt was there was why she was getting good care. Who is going to neglect a relative of the manager? My son called me daily crying and wanting to come home. I didn't get much "respite" time for myself. I was only too happy to bring him home.

We moved my uncle here and the first 3 months were great but now they are sneaky and are moving him with a roommate with out my permission and they promised me and that he would be in a single room then the day before they tried to take him out of the lock down area with out our say and Nicole is a sneaky lady and non of the nurses knew about the changes and some nurses are so amazing I will not state there names but this is overall bull shit and we are looking for new places to put my uncle
