My mom got discharged on October 1st. the nurse told me she would call in her prescriptions in the pharmacy that night and NEVER did she needs that blood thinner so don't have another stroke but now I call cause she only has 1 pill left and their is a storm coming, they won't help me, they don't care about you here it's just a paycheck to them

My Mom was a patient for 3 weeks. The staff were very helpful from Tammy in admissions that went over all my concerns in placing Mom there (1st time doing this). The front desk ladies were always smiling and Mom loved these 2 sweet ladies. The staff that took care of her were wonderful and patient with Mom she has dementia and she would tell them the same story over and over and these sweet ladies acted like it was the 1st time hearing it. Everyone I encountered there was nice including the nice lady from the laundry dept. that went over and above finding Mom's new pajamas that were misplaced. My Mom at 88 sings karaoke and the activities director played a song and let her sing she told me how that made her so happy. I was impressed with how clean the rooms , the floors, Mom's restroom and most of all Mom was always in clean clothes . If and when I have to place her again I won't hesitate to take her back there.

People seem to make a review only about negativity. Not me. The entire staff at Charming is awesome! My Honey is getting great care! My experience is good! It's not easy to work at a rehab. Very demanding. These folks rock! Thankful for them all!

Stay away from this place, it is nothing but a nightmare. They abuse me and neglected me I'm a daily basis. The staff that works at night were the worse . Two of the male nurses were gqy and one of them was taking hormones to become a woman. I had to call the Polk County Sheriff end this Saturday. A report was filed.

The people who work at the nursing home are amazing! They are so dedicated, compassionate, and truly care about the residents. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone's needs are met. Kudos to the incredible team! ?

I had to give a star so I gave it a 1 so I could write my review but if there was a 0 that would be my rating. Worse place ever. Stinks and has roaches. Took 45 minutes for anyone to come after the light was on. My sister was there and ended up back in the hospital because of infection from lack of care and them not changing her dressings. I wouldn't recommend this place even for my worse enemy. Thank God she was able to speak up for herself but what about the ones that can't? I hope they have family that will.

I am unhappy to say Dantes Inferno exists in Lakland, Florida, the seventh layer being this disgusting dump...a junkyard of broken people and broken minds. The smell of death is nauseating roaches and other insects are everywhere they serve low grade dog food and no fresh vegetables only no name intant mashed potatoes the constancy of wet wall paper paste, it can take up to 4 hours for anyone to answer a room call light. 9Their motto is "walk in...leave in a bag".
Please stay away if you love your family .
