Our 33 year old son died from the Ibogaine treatment he received at this clinic.july,2021. The Ibogaine put him into cardiac arrest, his brain dead body was dropped across the border where he later died ....
EDIT Response: Our Son was definitely killed from the treatment at your facility (Casa Santa Isabel). Our son's counselor was Armando Camacho , he's on your website video.. I spoke with him a couple of times while my wife and I were at the ICU at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Chula Vista CA where you folks dropped our son's lifeless body off after you poisoned him. Our son's name was James Watts , your treatment center killed him..Quit lying..... Vince Watts ,Father.... Update: my You tube posts have been scrubbed by Casa Santa Isabel…UPDATE…. . I have been informed that this facility is not permitted as a treatment facility but as a day spa, they have no medical doctors on staff. You are risking your life if you go here for treatment.UPDATE…

This place isn’t safe. They didn’t screen me at all minus a very brief medical form; I had to call them two days prior to go over what would happen during my time there and ask questions since they did not call me. They didn’t talk to me at all beforehand about intentions, energetic protection, or emotional safety. When I got in, they took my bags to my room and unpacked them without my permission. The next morning, someone opened my door without knocking and woke me up, then giggled when I told her this bothered me. At one point I was so uncomfortable with how I was treated, I cried, and a nurse told me not to cry because I looked prettier when I smiled. Another nurse shoved a Xanax at me when she witnessed my tears without offering any empathy or warmth.

I was there from a Thursday to a Monday. Before arriving, I was told I’d receive ibogaine on Friday. I discussed this with a staff member and she said I need not cancel a work-related Zoom call I had on Sunday. Anyone who’s familiar with ibogaine knows this is absurd. Iboga trips last 48 hours on average — often longer. Unexpectedly, without telling me, they moved my ibogaine session from Friday to Saturday because of their doctor’s schedule. They administered it to me 38 hours before they made me leave. They also told me last minute that they were driving me back to the train station two hours earlier than planned. My journeys last longer than average. Even an average journey would have lasted 10 hours past the point when they sent me home. I was sick, hallucinating, and crying on the train ride home and then the Uber back to my apartment, seeing the most gruesome images and hearing the most ghastly sounds. I got home and got stuck in a bad trip alone with nobody to comfort me for days. They didn’t call or email to check in on me at all.

I paid extra for a room with a jacuzzi bath but it did not work. The water was lukewarm and the jets didn’t function. Most troublingly, there was a button to press in case of an emergency while I was under the influence. I pressed it many times without anybody coming. It took an hour or so for someone to finally come attend to me when I needed them. Thankfully for me, I was struggling emotionally, not physically. Otherwise, this could have been fatal. If someone is experiencing a medical emergency on this medicine, rapid intervention is crucial. Their response to my multiple attempts to tell them I needed them was instead highly delayed. Even though my distress was emotional rather than physical, this was frightening. Doing ibogaine is one of the most emotional experiences you can have in your life, yet I was offered nothing whatsoever by way of emotional support.

Thankfully, I know this medicine well. So, I acted as my own guide when nobody else offered to guide me. Since I was forced to undergo most of the trip alone at home, I guided myself through deep breathing and visualizations, spoke to myself in the mirror to uncover the deeper meanings and constructive applications of my terrifying trip, repeated to myself that it was temporary, called in spirit guides, and - when I recovered enough to maneuver a phone - called up experts and helpers I knew. Not everybody can do that. I utilized the staff’s disrespect, condescension, and negligence to travel deeper into my psyche and strengthen my body and mind. But there are people coming to this center who lack the knowledge, experience, and resources to accomplish this.

I’ve done 10 flood doses of iboga and ibogaine in my life and can say it’s easiest when you feel safe and cared for. I recommend that those seeking assistance from these medicines enlist warm, kind facilitators who can hold their hands from weeks before the ceremony until weeks after. Who will be in the room with them during the journey or at least be easy to reach. Who will keep them for 72 hours or more after administering the medicine; this is a safety protocol. And, lastly, who can comfort them during dark moments, because such moments will arise. This place does not provide that.

I went for treatment to Casa Santa Isabel about two months ago. I have nothing but good things to say in regards to the overall experience. Starting with the staff who do their best to keep patients well taken care of; from the kitchen staff all the way to the medical staff. The facility itself, which it's a home, is beautiful overlooking the ocean. My Ibogaine experience was overall a breakthrough experience where I'm still learning from it and staying sober. Thank you Casa Santa Isabel.

Just over one year sober all thanks to the folks at Casa Santa Isabel. True professionals in every sense. I still keep in touch with the psychology staff. More of a friendly check in but they have helped me with a few personal issues after my departure. It’s the kind of place you want to remember. I look back like it was sort of a vacation. Had some rough times but they got me through them with ease. Seems like there are a lot of choices for ibogaine therapy. From small houses with one or two staff hanging around to places like Santa Isabel where you get a complete team of caring doctors and nurses. Even the cooking and housekeeping staff is cool. You won’t be disappointed! Worth every penny. I left extremely satisfied. Still am

I had a great experience at Casa Santa Isabel, staff members were professional and efficient. The facility is gorgeous and everything is really clean. The view is relaxing, view of the ocean. Treatment night of Ibogaine I felt comfortable and safe; I trusted the medical staff, which consisted of 2 medical doctors, nurses and psychologist. The only thing I would suggest for Casa Santa Isabel to add is more exercise equipment, maybe a treadmill.

After suffering from a severe opiate addiction since 2008, a friend of my family recommended Casa Santa Isabel. My parents were very skeptical since we tried several rehab centers near Los Angeles and one in Tucson, but my addiction was so powerful I craved oxy through the recovery programs and went right back to using soon after returning home. My first and second day at Casa Santa Isabel were very relaxing and their doctor helped me stay together without my pills. The ibogaine therapy was amazing. I was scared at first but everything became so clear and by the next day I felt extremely down to earth and with zero cravings. Something I had not felt in over 11 years. The doctor and psychologist were very attentive and easy to get along with. All of the staff was amazing. I felt like I was at a retreat. Although the best part was returning home to a life without dependency. Thank you all so much. I will keep in touch.

I'm currently a little over a week clean after my stay with zero withdrawal symptoms or cravings. I fully intend to come back in a year or two for a tune up whenever I feel i need one. 10/10 highly reccomend!
