What an amazing place, this place is everything the brochure depicts it to be and so much more! They flew me from Kansas to California and they were very compassionate about my needs in recovery. Very fitness based from personal training with an awesome trainer, yoga taught by a top tier very patient instructor, staff were very friendly and helpful in all aspects. The case manager was very astute and since it’s not a large facility but rather a beautiful house the treatment was very personal not just some cookie cutter one for all type of treatment. I highly recommend Cali care to anyone struggling with addiction. Especially if you like the natural and fitness based kind of treatment. They offer excellent mental health services as well. Like any program you will get out of it what you put in. If you’re looking for a place to heal and recover this is the place for you!!!!
God knows it’s done wonders for me! Oh did I mention the weekly beach trips? So peaceful! Love and respect

I have a family member in treatment, and I have never been so impressed with the kindness, resourcefulness, care and support of the team! My loved one is excelling and has the best chance at success with this program in place. Clients are taken on daily outings, meet with a therapist and fitness trainer weekly. And they even accepted a service dog! God bless the staff and this program. My loved one was welocmed with open, loving arms, and felt so safe and cared for. I am forever grateful!!

I came across California Care randomly and i am eternally grateful for them. They are an amazing recovery center and they genuinely care about your recovery. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt very safe throughout my time there and everyone is so welcoming and kind. 1000/10 recommend if you are struggling with addiction. Life has its ups and down. I arrived to CaliforniaCare not knowing what to expect… all I knew was that I was ready for a change. The home I came to is fenomenal, I was welcomed with an open heart, and would be woke up already with fresh food on a daily basis(fg amazing). Eventually I realized that this wouldn’t be forever, their aim was to help me realize that there are much more things out in the world. This facility and its staff went above and beyond in helping me understand my issues with my addiction and helped me create and strengthen new habits and tools that will forever help me in my ongoing recovery.

A special shoutout to Lead Technician Holly, whose warmth and dedication made such a difference during my stay. She was always there to provide comfort and guidance, making me feel safe throughout the process.

Case Manager Paul was outstanding in his role. He took the time to understand my needs and worked tirelessly to ensure that I had the best possible experience. His support was invaluable.

Nurse Keesha was also incredible. Her compassionate care and professionalism made all the difference, especially during some of the tougher moments. I knew I was in good hands with her.

Lastly, my therapist Rupa was phenomenal. Her sessions were transformative and helped me gain the clarity I needed to move forward. Her expertise and empathy were exactly what I needed on my journey to recovery.

I can’t thank the team at California Care Recovery Detox enough for their dedication and support. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about your well-being, this is it. Highly recommend!

I have been in this facility for two weeks now and one of the many words I would use to describe California Care is "safe". From the day I got here I was welcomed by Chloe and Brandon who both made me feel very comfortable right away. They explained the program and showed me around going at a pace that made me feel confident even then that I had chosen the right place. Matt has been very caring and compassionate, listening and making sure I am ok. I have all the confidence in the world in the nurses Keesha and Genessee"They both made sure that I was "comfortable" the whole time. Eddie took such good care of me during his shifts as well. The amazing thing though is I have noticed this wonderful care from this staff being bestowed upon all of here. Paul is my case manager. He helped me with absolutely anything I needed to do and take care of with my personal life. i.e. work, bills etc.
Rupa is my therapist. She is so kind and compassionate as well as patient. Allowing me to go at my own pace.
And then there's Holly......
She is both the Alumni coordinator as well as the lead tech but she wears many many hats. She is kind compassionate and very friendly. She makes sure that every one of your needs are meet and taken care of. She and the staff have been great. There are groups, therapy physical classes and always someone to talk to. This place is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who needs help. Thank you all for this experience in helping me continue my journey.

California Cares is the best detox/rehab I have ever been too, and sadly I've been to many. The staff are top notch and we're there for me at all hours especially when I was going thru withdrawal. The house is clean and beautiful. My bed was even very comfortable and my room was tip top. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that needs help getting clean. I could have never done it by myself but with the help & compassion of those at California Cares I completed my detox and now have hope for my future. Thank you California Cares you saved my life!
