I would like to give a shout out to Ms. Kenya Bright! She is the most awesome, professional, hard working Clinical Liaison, I have worked with in my 25 years as a Social Worker. Ms. Bright used her expertise and experience to place a few of my clients, who were difficult to place due to unfortunate circumstances.

I am glad that my clients were able to be placed at Autumn Lake at Glen Burnie. Due to my schedule, I have to do random pop up visits. Everytime I visit, the staff is very helpful and pleasant. The facility is peaceful, clean, and spotless inside and out. My residents report that they receive good attentive care, and are glad that they were placed in this facility. Keep up the great work Autumn Lake!

This is my mother second time in this facility and unfortunately she will remain there long term. Now I have had my experiences with LTC facilities on both sides as an Admissions Director and now as a family member of loved one. No one will care for your loved one like you would or exactly like you want, that is an unrealistic expectation. However every now and then we come across a rare Jewel. In this case the jewel name is Abu! He is EXCELLENT, when I tell you he is so good I assumed he was new to the field because he still employ all that is supposed to be done when you first learn how to care for the geriatric population. It was like he was fresh out of school. Well to my surprise he has had his licenses for 7years! Yeah 7 years and again MY experience by this stage of the career they are cutting corners and rushing to the next patient! Not Abu he Genuinely cares for the patient mentally he talks to them while caring for them (my mom is non-verbal, but not deaf) and we and our mom appreciates that. I believe giving flowers and credit and shoutouts and accolades when due. I am not exaggerating not even a fraction of exaggeration. This man has chosen the correct career and he will excel and go beyond an nurses aide and even a nurse. Thank you Abu please never change the way you care for these fragile and vulnerable human beings. Although my mother is Jon verbal she KNOWS when she is being treated with respect and proper care. Abu you are all these things and more! Autumn Lake Furnace Branch you did good, real, real good! Thank you.

My Mom is in the Rosemary Unit & has dementia. I live far from the nursing home, so I am not able to visit her that often. I mainly have contact with Myesha. She is amazing at helping me with my Mom. I could give so many examples of how I feel she goes out of her way to help. She is very professional & she makes it easy for me to contact her. Her compassion, patience, calm nature, & care really shows. I appreciate everything she & everyone else does to help my Mom.

Kara housing was very nice and cleaned our room very well. Shannon was always nice. Dawn and Shelia were great. These staff treated us like family. These were the only ones that I could depend on to get through the tough times. There was also Francis night time. I was in the Potomac Bldg. for over 1 year. Thank you for all your hard work.

I would never refer anyone to go to this facility because the only reason I kept my sanity was the staff. I always kept my area clean. Like I said before Kara kept our room very clean and stocked with the supplies we needed. Dawn, Sheila and Francis took really good care of us. Shannon Winters was always nice and would help any way she could. Nina would take care of how you felt and looked. She would paint your nails bring you food when they had parties and you could were stuck in bed.

I was very happy with my visit. The establishment was very clean. The help was very helpful and polite. The atmosphere of the place was excellent. I feel very comfortable. My sister is very comfortable and I would recommend the establishment to others.

My mother left the hospital and went there on a friday evening. Saturday was okay. Sunday and Monday total decline! I don't even think they noticed!! I don't even think they gave her medicine, since BP was so high!! The nurses had no concern nor did the doctor! I took my mother out via ambulance right to the ICU! Saved her life!
Only good for people that can take care of self, possibly !!
Buyer beware!!

Update, my mother died 2 months after your lousy care!! I hope you fired some people!

Mom had a problem that kept her in the hospital for over a week. Sent her here after the hospital said she was stable. While here her tooth started to hurt. They made a great effort to help her get to the dentist. Then when her health started to go south, they sent her immediately back to the hospital. We found out she needed an aortic valve. She has gotten that fixed and is now back at Autumn Lake Glen Burnie. Where I know she'll receive the care she needs.

If I could leave a negative review, I would! My grandmother was there for 5 hours before we removed her. The placed smelled like urine as soon as you walk in and was filthy! We got there and after 2 hours we finally went and asked if a nurse or someone would be in to check on her/welcome her, something! We watched multiple patients in her room ring for a nurse and one never came. My grandmother called to tell us that a nurse came in and woke her up and was cursing at her saying she was getting on her nerves, etc. I would not recommend anyone leave a loved one in this place!
