I can't believe they treat patients like criminals. The physical therapy has helped my husband. They don't feed people nutritious meals. Crap is more like it. No one hardly speaks any English. Medication is late if at all. Weekends are the worst. And meal portions are barely enough for a bird. Places like this shouldn't be open. Patients are treated horribly!

Do not come HERE. It looks all pretty in pictures but the truth is that like an hour or two after my dad was brought here, I had to come and take him home without his therapy. The place is dirty, sharing same small room with sick people. Old food and no medicine available. My dad is not in the condition to get worse and I am finding a different place for his rehab.

I absolutely love this place and the way it has been turned around since new management has taken over! I started in this building as a PCA then CNA and now apart of the management team! The residents are happy about the major difference in the building from inside out! The old name should be left in the dark and ASPIRE AT THE BAY IS THE NEW LIGHT! We are a strong management team/family that’s dedicated to this positive turn around!

Horrible. Classic case of profit over care. Facility is understaffed and what staff they have is overworked, leading to inadvertent negligence. Does not contact patients' regular doctors to ensure best care. Nurses do not keep family apprised of patients' condition. Rooms are dirty and hot; cheap motel-style wall unit air conditioners are old and barely work. Patients are left sitting in hallways in wheelchairs. Hard of hearing patients shouted at rudely. Fall risk patients forced to walk rather than given wheelchairs. Patients not bathed regularly. One overworked social worker coordinating for entire facility.

I could go on but you get the idea.

If the owners of this place had to spend a month here they'd burn it to the ground and salt the ashes.

Edited to add: the complaint line listed below does not return calls or follow up in any way. Called Social Services instead.

This place is horrible!!!! If i could give it zero stars i would. There is dried blood and roaches. This is supposed to be a medical rehab facility. My mother states that she never receives the correct medication and shes here doing rehab from having a stroke! Which she needs her blood pressure medicine so it doesnt happen again. I do not recommend going to this place even if its what insurance covers, ypur better off having at home treatment if possible. So sad that some people dont have options and are forced to stay here. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!

I don’t even want to give them that rating. This place is horrible and unfit to put anyone in. I wouldn’t even put my worst enemy here i saw knats flying around,smelled, rooms thru just throw you to get your money and more. You better go there before taking your loved ones it’s not FIT.

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I definitely would. I recently visited my brother at this facility. This facility is a death trap and is not setup for patients to be rehabilitated. His nurse had no knowledge as to what was wrong with my brother, he was on isolation without the proper PPE, the nursing supervisor that was on sent another worker off the unit to get masks, therefore that let me know that they do not change their mask between patients, which means everything and everyone is at risk for cross contamination. I was extremely upset to see how, not only my brother, but the other residents are living in this place you call a facility, this place is a setup for the homeless and the less fortunate funded by the state of Florida. Not to mention black mold, soiled clothing, and unattended residents to name a few things, that we notice on our short visit. And to make matters even more disturbing upon our leaving the weekend supervisor who was also my brother's nurse was talking about me to the receptionist, because I called her out for her first impression when we first entered the facility. Yes she was sitting there with her legs crossed on her phone, regardless of whom or what she was waiting for. This place needs to be shut down. I also explained to the weekend supervisor that she doesn't know who works where, or if I worked for ACHA. Something needs to be done QUICK.
