Akua was amazing. The staff was caring and very supportive. Would have giving a 5, but was a little disappointed in the exercise aspect. Everything else was spot on!!! Going home so er, happy and healthy. Highly recommend

Akua is amazing!! Anyone who goes through the residential program will automatically be part of the alumni community run by Camille. Camille is constantly checking in and makes you feel like you have someone in your corner. The alumni program keeps you accountable and offers a fellowship with others in recovery. There’s weekly meetings and activities. And it’s all FREE!! I’ve struggled with addiction for years so I’ve experienced other residential programs including ones that cost significantly more. I got more out of Akua than any of the other programs. There is no comparison. I would recommend Akua to a friend or family member without a doubt.

The rehab was very helpful. The groups and staff were great. Fair warning the chef is too good of a cook, you might gain weight. Akua really helps people find a place in the sober community. The alumni meetings help people stay connected even after rehab.

I was referred to Akua by a trusted friend at a point in my life when all seemed hopeless. From the moment I got there, I was shown nothing but love and patience from the staff, medical team, and the other residents. I had a lot of heart felt moments with too many people to name, but the short of it is that I left Akua not only sober, but with the mind set that I am choosing to stay that way to win my life back and be the man God intended me to be all along.
