I brought my 16 year old daughter here and was very worried considering the treatment she received in other facilities. Fort was a god send for her, their therapy, activities and just the care from the staff in general is amazing. All of the staff truly care about these babies but I have to say Ms. Nikki is the best, she has continued to follow up with my daughter even after her release and continues supporting her throughout her journey. I wish we had more Ms.Nikki’s, my daughter loves her so much and she will be apart of my family forever. This is an amazing place but Ms. Nikki is a HUGE part of it, she loves and cares so much even after they leave care. ?

My stay at fort behavioral was woundful. Chad the manager was the best he is great with the clients the loves to teach new ways of living. Tammy my therapist is the greatest she will go over and beyond for you, she help me with a new way of thinking, living and with my family I think she is super woman. The staff here is super great I wish I could name them all but they are loving and caring people and will help you in anyway they can. The doctors are very nice and make sure you get the right medication to make your stay comfortable. The groups are good lot of exposure to recovery and a new way of thinking. The smokes breaks are great I can't complain. The food is ok 4 stars out of 5.

I spent 44 days here. Very good experience! Miss Tammy and Jess are phenomenal therapists! Jordan, Shonee, Trey, Baba, Josh, Mike and so many other counselors were amazing! With their help I’m an improved person and very grateful to all of them for the help they have given me!

Fort Behavioral sent a team of ladies to transport me to a local hospital for detox while pregnant. The hospital was rude and had no idea what was going on. They told me to return in the morning. I was able to catch the transport team before they left the parking lot, asked them to take me back to the hotel so I didn't have to walk, and that I was instructed to return in the morning. They did not listen to me, went Inside, then came back out and told me it's fine just go back in, and left. I ended up having to walk home with my suitcase and extra bag being 21 weeks pregnant. They did not listen to what I asked and only seemed to care about one thing - completing a task. They did not stop and listen to me and I was put in an uncomfortable, unsafe and inconvenient situation because of it. I'm going to go ahead and try the inpatient program, but really hope they take this situation to heart and learn to stop and listen next time so this doesn't happen again.

Rooms are private and comfortable. Staff is very professional and truly kind. Food is the low point, including difficulty in adapting to dietary requirements/restrictions. Groups are hit and miss. As with any place, be your own best advocate in asking for the things you need, especially from therapists.

My daughter first came to Ft. Behavioral in January and the program helped her in so many ways. She returned in May. She stated she really needed the resources they provide and it helps her. She is finally back home and is putting to use the skills they taught her. Communication between us has improved. The family therapy session did really help. They have added so many things since January. Really the best option in Texas. Tammy H. And Whitney W. really did help me stay involved and updated in her care.

Had such an amazing experience with Fort for my 16 year old son. The staff at Fort are ANGELS and truly care about kids. I hope that closing the adolescent program is very short lived and is reopened very soon. There is a such a huge need for this type of facility for this very challenging and at-risk age group. We can't afford to have closures in an area of care that is so important and lifesaving. Please reconsider and keep your adolescent program open and tweak & expand - don't give up!

Honestly, they deserve no star; there are some good people there and it’s a shame with the people doing the office at the faith of people that cares about the patients. The individuals in the office goes out to the patients behind money put them out in the middle of the night without knowing if they going to make it or not.. This what happened to patient last night if it wasn’t for the staff there this individual would be an out on the street out in the cold.with all his bags, and probably would’ve had a relapse. again, people in the office do not care about the patients all they care about money they kept coming at him about money even though the insurance was paying for his treat me there they didn’t do his paperwork right they went behind his caseworker, redid his paperwork and kept coming at him again money money, money, money, money. . This was stressing him out, his family and especially me high can a person concentrate on getting healthy? when ever time him or her turn around they getting threatening to put you out on the street.. he said they are post to be there to ensure these patients are getting healthy and well additions of fake people health Jesus does mentally and physically. The people in the office or cowers they send Mrs. down to the nurses overnight in the middle of the night. What is individuals are trying to raise and focus on getting well. They do not wait on the caseworkers or the caregiver that’s over them they do it when they are out of town on vacation. Excuse me is my words are messed up I’m kind of upset because it’s happened to a Love one last night thank God people reached out to him but what about the ones that does not help people there for them again I don’t know who this person in office is Danny or the other person is what he’s in with you do not need to be an office if they do not know nothing about the field they don’t know how this work in affect people not just the people that’s in there but the people that’s on the outside want to see the love ones get recovery completely thank God he’s still in control of everything and believe me he is . Also, I still have Miss Danny voicemail, which is a text message on my phone where she was asking him for money. People don’t know they raise y’all are committing fraud the insurance ensure that you are paid. If you do the paperwork right and not crookedness when y’all see people making a leeway y’all want money cause I know the heart they mine in spirit is the stay there and get completed care . they don’t always speak about drugs that whatever they going through the other things, which is mentally and physically and scared to be out there in a public because they do not want to relapse ya’llneed to take that time to really see what’s going on with your patience when they come in there, if you don’t have love for this job or companionship, please get out of it .
