I was a patient at Ignite Medical Resorts in Fort Worth from August to November of this year. All of the staff at Ignite are very caring and extremely competent. Debra, the wound care, nurse, did an excellent job taking care of my surgical wound and was a delight to interact with. The other nurses, especially Ashley, and the therapy staff were also exemplary. They gave me quite a send off when I was discharged, too. Made me feel like a champion

The nurses were outstanding. Most of the aides were too. Physical and Occupational Therapists were wonderful. Everyone of them showed care, concern, encouragement to there patients. The NP were kind and efficient in there care. The only problem was with the food service. Different times almost every day, things missing-food, drinks, utensils, ,food was cold quite often(probably because the plates were cold). The servers were nice, polite, and did there best under poor kitchen work.

Debra, our wound care nurse was AMAZING!! She lived me!! And Jessica our nurse took such good care of me.
And Oscar always made sure my room was spotless. And Stacy in Physical Therapy was also Fabulous!! Everyone took such good care of me. I'm very thankful.

Very satisfied. The staff was very professional and pleasant. I loved the therapy program that was set up for my sister. The staff also took great care of her medical needs. Most of all my sister was very pleased with everything that was offered to her. Great Job staff!!!

I really enjoy my therapists Rebecca and Amanda. They really give me a good workout and they are so fun and make therapy enjoyable to go to. The entire therapy team is great! They all get along great and make a good team. I always look forward to going to therapy. My favorite part of my stay here.

I’m a 79 year old man and went directly from my hospital to Ignite. I felt welcome immediately. The staff is wonderful from the initial meeting to the nurses to the rehab staff in the exercise room and the support crew. The food was really good and there were always options. If I need rehab again, that is where I will go. Ken B.

The dayshift were mostly awesome, especially Veronica and Latasha and the nurses. The night shift, however could be a nightmare; there were folks that obviously didn't want to be there and I experienced some poor and unprofessional care. I often waited hours when I called for help and when they finally arrived I was treated roughly. One of the nurses even scolded for ringing my call button too much! I know that it was untrue and it certainly was unprofessional! I had some bedsores from being the hospital for months and I couldn't even get them treated except by a couple of the aids on the dayshift. And my bariactric bed and inflatable mattress were so high I kept falling when I tried to get in the bed!
For the most part my visit was a good one; even the cardic diet I was receiving was good if you chose from the "always available" menu. The rooms were not as nice as the photo below.

My father went to Ignite Medical Resort after being in the hospital for rehab on Sept. 25th, 2024.
The care and physical therapy at Ignite is horrible.
He was admitted on a Wednesday and did not start physical therapy until Monday. They told us he would have therapy twice a day Monday-Friday.
He did not receive therapy that Thursday or Friday. When we checked him out of Ignite, he was still not able to take a few steps with his walker.
My sister was with him one day and pushed the call button and after waiting for 45 minutes, she finally had to go find the caregivers to help with changing his clothes.
My husband and I was there visiting one day for several hours and not once did anyone come to check on my father.
Everytime we were there the staff was on their phones and we always had to go find someone to help us.
I called twice and left the general manager to please give me a called and no one ever called me back. Please check out all the reviews, not just the ones on their website.
If you care about your love ones, do not send them to Ignite Medical Resort!
