I've been coming here for massages for years. Recently this place closed because of an accident. So I had to explore other options in the neighborhood. Tried multiple places out there, some expensive, some average, some good, some mediocre, can't say I was blown away in any shape or form. Bay Beauty Spa was good value for the money.

I love going to Bay Beauty Spa for foot massages. I have insomnia, when I hit a wall, I'd come here for a foot massage and I usually fall asleep for like 15-20 minutes. That short nap makes a world difference for me when I'm desperate for some rest. I have yet to find a foot massage place in the neighborhood. I started to worry that Bay Beauty Spa wouldn't re-open. So when I learned that it's reopened, I was ecstatic. Came back as soon as I could for a deep tissue massage. The price is still very reasonable, especially since they have a promotion for the whole August for reopening.

Can't wait to go back again for foot massages. When a local business becomes part of my routine and literally my sanctuary in a way, it is sad when they had to shut down. I hope they'll stay open for a long time.

Hidden gem in plain sight. I have passed this place so many times and I am glad I finally lucked up on it online. My expectations were met. Calming environment, the staff were helpful and kind. Heidi was wonderful, she definitely went above and beyond.

The place was clean and the ladies were nice and courteous as well. The massage I had was really good , I just wish they added more to the face massage part. Maybe that's not a thing here ,but I get Massages pretty often and no matter where I've gone , there is always atleast a facial massage for 10/20 minutes. I'd still go back. It was a decent spot.

I booked the 60 mins scalp, head, neck and shoulder massage special posted at their front counter for $88 cash and ended up with just a facial?! I was so confused why the masseuse was only massaging my face I was looking forward to my scalp treatment I will not be going back

the worst experience

The worst massage my partner and I ever had and they’re racist, my partner is Black and I’m Filipino. We booked a “relaxing” couple’s 60 minute full body massage and 30 minutes foot reflexology, at 7pm with Leo and Coco. There was nothing relaxing about the body massage.

They used way too much elbow and were hitting our scapula, spine, and pelvic bones instead of just muscle so it was painful and my partner’s back is bruised today. Their technique was fast and the pressure was so hard like a deep tissue massage, when we said we wanted relaxing. I fall asleep during massages but I was far from falling asleep at this one because it was aggressive and nothing I have ever experienced.

The hot stone technique was terrible. They aggressively rubbed the stones back and forth up and down our backs and didn’t place them along the spine. The stones were clinking in their hands, right above our head, and it was loud and uncomfortable.

The foot reflexology massage was mediocre but even then the two massage therapists were talking to each other.

We weren’t massaged for the whole time scheduled. The body massage stopped at 50 minutes and the reflexology was less than 30 minutes. They were waiting and blocking the door for a tip. They have outdated massage tables with a hole in them for your face (not adjustable) so that was uncomfortable. The front desk staff was nice.

We will never support this racist establishment ever again.

For context: My partner has previously visited this establishment for a couple’s massage with a White boyfriend at the time, and their experience was actually good. That's why my partner recommended returning there again.

Been going here for years!! They have a great variety of massage options and also do things like eyelash perm/extensions, waxing, manicures, and facials. I've never had a bad experience with them and they're the most bang for your buck in the area! 1hr massage is $55 and the 1hr foot/back combo is $38 last I checked!

Only thing I'd suggest is not telling your customers during face treatments that they have "really bad acne" (I don't but they still said it lol). I get it's a sales tactic to get them to buy a facial, but anyone with less confidence would probably be pretty hurt by it and I'm sure someone with acne already knows they have it lolol.

They didn't do it the last time I got my eyelashes done, but they've done it before and I've learned to just brush it off but others might not (◕ᴗ◕✿)

So this place is pretty great if you are looking for a good massage without breaking the bank. It's not a spa environment. It's not fancy, but the people are great, and the massages are pretty fabulous. I've done both the lounge chair massage and the full body, and both are excellent. I'm a fan and go pretty regularly.
