I did the Narconon Program over 25 years ago. I did not go into the program expecting it to work as I’d tried many other programs and approaches. What surprised me is that each step is designed to improve one and I felt the difference. That in itself kept me there - it was helping. I was very surprised at one point when the thought occurred to me that I do not need drugs anymore and have the tools and ability I need to make my life good. It is a unique program and very effective.

With an overwhelmed NHS service and lack of research and long term, effective treatments available in the UK, Narconon is a friendly yet focused facility that I found helps people regain purpose and power over their lives once again. I found it to be clean, well looked after and excellent at providing long term support which is key. The Narconon program was a special process for me. Before I arrived things had gotten out of control. While I had a pretty good job, it meant that I could also afford to drink a lot, and so I did. I was an alcoholic–not drinking felt impossible, I tried various ways. Not only that, my life was spiralling, and felt like a death wish. So I decided to give Narconon a try, I simply checked in. Soon after I could tell this was a good place for me, it was like being caught in a safety net. Things went up from there. I found the sauna portion especially effective, miraculous. The program is unmatched and the only one that does not replace street drugs with other drugs, it has several stages and each one is fundamental. Withdrawal is easier because they are always with you, all the time, in 3 shifts, always helping you through the worst, at any time of the day or night.
Then comes the sauna, which is the key to the program to never go back again, it is the great difference with other programs and that allows with a special regime, exercise and sauna to cleanse the body from drug residues and toxins.
Then there are some exercises that allow you to remove your fixed attention in the past and really be here and now, which is a simple and enormously powerful achievement that allows you to rediscover your world again, everything you missed, everything you lost. You put aside and were about to lose forever.
But that's not all, at the end there are the courses for life, to later learn tools to make good decisions about the same problems in life instead of the way to drugs you took before. Removing addiction, residues, overcoming the past and with the tools to face the future, now a bright new life is available. Narconon UK is an island of salvation in the midst of chaos, thank you.
