I was disappointed to find out that their Veterans program all but fell apart. Within the last 6 months they had horticulture, chickens, goats, and sheep to assist in therapy. The program Director resigned in March of 2024 and they almost immediately dropped everything. They still combine the veterans and first responders for group sessions but we are only promised to meet one in one with a counselor once a week. They are short staffed on counselors so when one is out for personal reasons the clients do not receive any one on one counseling. My fellow veterans repeatedly had EMDR sessions canceled spanning over several weeks with no actual sessions conducted.

I have no expectations of this being a resort with gourmet foods, luxury spas, or king-size beds. I, and others came here to get needed counseling and therapy and Starlite failed to provide even the state minimum of one counseling session a week for civilians and 2 times a week for active duty.

Starlite has some real personnel issues. I had items that went missing when I was transferred from detox to the liberty program. I was told that my items would be replaced but that never happened. We also had Veterans get several of their debit cards compromised because someone is skimming the vending machines. It’s great when your debit card information gets stolen by staff while in treatment. Even the staff corporate cards are getting compromised which is causing the staff to either go out of pocket and get reimbursed or just not provide supplies.

They have a few great people that personally care for the veterans and first responders but it just seems like the program died out. God forbid I relapse, I will not return here.

I will start off this review by saying Starlite Recovery Center literally saved my life.
I went to Starlite after trying to detox my self off alcohol, I went to Starlite after two days of trying the process myself and I went downhill real quick and had to be sent to hospital and spent the next 5 days in ICU, I was readmitted to detox after my stay in hospital, I was treated with the upmost care.
The staff at Starlite is topnotch, everyone from nursing staff to counselors and cafe staff all care about the patients well being and recovery, I would recommend Starlite to anyone struggling with addiction.

I was there 15 1/2 years ago. It was not my first rodeo. I am still sober today. I’d say that was one heck of a commendation! Things look different today in the pictures, but if the core of the program is the same I surely recommend.

I absolutely love my stay at Starelite! I did the 45 day program and it absolutely changed my life. The whole time is amazing, the techs, therapists, nursing team, cleaning team, cafe staff and drivers where all so dedicated and caring. I felt right at home. The daily programming was spot on for my treatment.

My experience at Starlite Recovery Center was great. The staff worked hard for us in the Liberty program. The Director of Liberty, Jess, wore many hats to make sure that the clients were well taken care of, the programming was established, and her clients were seen all while leading her own classes on moral injury and other topics. Jess worked very hard to keep it all on track which made the client experience great.

Jayden, Lauren, Chris, and Miss Patty worked hard and Teresa is the most amazing counselor. Jess and her Liberty team were top notch.

I received too notch treatment there. Their trauma approach is cutting edge and I was treated with dignity and respect at all times. Everyone was so nice, from the cafeteria staff to the CEO. If I could list and thank everyone by name this post would be a mile long! I feel like I got what I needed to live a sober life. The ropes course, volleyball court, mini golf course, pickelball court, gym, walking track, and on site therapy animals were amazing. They also had a treatment building for first responders, law enforcement, active duty, and veterans.
