I highly recommend AdventHealth Med and Rehab Winter Park. I appreciate the therapists and assistants as well as the front desk team. Their caring atmosphere, professional expertise and knowledge is outstanding. I was dealing with a chronic Achilles issue and by the end of my three month rehabilitation I was able to tour Greece with little pain and discomfort. My goals were actually exceeded. I just finished 12 weeks of physical therapy at AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehab Winter Park. When I first came to this center back in March I wasn’t sure if my shoulder would ever be the same again after rotator cuff surgery. I’m glad to report that I’m definitely well on my way to full recovery! A special thank you to Jeremy, Mark, April, Sabrina and Kelsey. Your expertise, knowledge and guidance these past 12 weeks has gotten me back close to 100%. Time and perseverance will get me the rest of the way. I’ll be back at yoga soon! I had a lumbar procedure done and required physical therapy. I had bi weekly therapy for 3 weeks, and a couple more sessions. I am back to 90%. My Therapist Jeremy was great, knowledgeable and provided me a foundation to continue my therapy on my own. Great experience with everyone there.

After dealing with hip pain for nearly a year, I decided to give therapy a shot. My only regret is not doing it sooner! The team here is so friendly and helpful. After just a month of therapy I am well on my way to recovery. They’ve also provided me with the tools I need to continue improving on my own. Great customer service at this facility in Winter park. I like to get massage therapy with Janett. She's very professional, caring, and attentive to any needs and concerns. I'm an active senior who enjoys working out 5 days a week. I highly recommend Janett's stone & deep tissue therapy combined with a soothing relaxation massage! She's very experienced!?Thank you for your dedication and hard work! Blessings!?

I went for a full body massage and wanted a deep tissue. The massage therapist Janet told me that she does not give deep tissue massages unless it’s for athletes. When I told her I teach group fitness and workout several hours a week, I was told that I technically wasn’t an “athlete.” She used a basketball player as example of being a good candidate for a deep tissue massage. Now I’m not sure if she doesn’t do deep tissue in general or she didn’t consider me an “athlete” but the way the conversation went was that I probably wasn’t going to get a deep tissue massage. Why do I need to be an athlete for a deep tissue?I know that most of their clientele are geriatric patients(I’m sure she’s more gentle with them) because she did not get deep within my muscles that would relieve the tightness I was feeling especially in my back. I weight train AT LEAST 3 times a week plus I teach cycling and weight toning group fitness classes. My body needed a deep tissue massage. Unfortunately, I’ll have to find another massage therapist for full price. I work at Crosby so employees get discounts on massages. The front desk staff was very nice. I gave them a two star based off my interaction with Janet. It was also my first visit.

The experience that we had during this time that my son was in physical therapy was absolutely amazing. After breaking his leg and having to undergo surgery in the middle of January, we weren't sure of how long it would be before he would be ready for competitive high school basketball. From a January surgery to being cleared to play full speed with no restrictions in the middle of October is credited to this team. Juan Madrid and the other therapists pushed my son every session to prepare him for such an amazing comeback. I believe he's better now after surgery and completing therapy than he was before he broke his leg. Thanks to this team.

Completing therapy was bitter sweet. We were glad to have made such an accomplishment and to have met and worked with a group of amazing therapists. At the same time, we are sad to leave behind such a talented and caring group. I would highly recommend Juan and the team there at AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab Winter Park to anyone who is willing to put in the work for a complete recovery. We'll surely miss you guys.
