I have a family member who is staying at Viera health and rehab and I see the reviews and it doesn’t really lineup with what I’ve experienced when we got there there was a person named Tracey who turned out to be an incredibly valuable member of our care team. She navigate all the roads for us because they’re unknown we’ve never been through this before and any kind of problems we’ve encountered she’s taking care of we literally almost left three times and Tracey was the reason we stayed because the fire as we experienced she went in and put them out and made things better so thank you Tracey for doing what you do it really does help the nursing team was good Therapy team is great not really delighted with the kitchen but again we’re working on that with the help of the Concierge

My dad has been at Viera for about a month now. I live in Washington and needed to quickly find him a place to live after his health declined and he was no longer able to care for himself. My sister lives near Orlando but was no help in this search, so I had to search for a facility over the internet and phone, which felt so risky to me. I called around and spoke to about a dozen facilities and received basic information but without actually being physically present it felt like a gamble. I decided on Viera based on reviews and website. I was still very nervous moving my dad to a place sight unseen. However that anxiety was quickly relieved as soon as I started speaking with Tracey, the "public relations person" (can't remember her position title at the moment). I immediately knew this would be different than the other places. I explained my situation and how nervous I am about moving my dad. She immediately suggested that we FaceTime so she could give me a tour of Viera. Wow! I hadn't thought of that and what a relief! She took her time with me and answered all of my questions and even introduced me to some staff during our virtual tour. Tracey is warm, friendly and funny. My dad has been there for almost a month now and he absolutely loves his new home and Tracey - he talks about her every time we speak. She calls him "Skippy" and he loves that. I am so lucky to have landed my dad in a facility where he is loved and cared for.

Visited my uncle there last month and was impressed by what I saw. He was happy and doing well, loved his therapist, and had a crush on the concierge, I think her name is Tracy, so cute! My sister (uncle's daughter) said Tracy is her liason and is also very helpful to family members, very responsive and professional, and very pleasant to deal with. Overall, good job here!

Unfriendly and unprofessional staff. I felt very rushed through the process of admitting my family member. I also felt almost intimidated to ask genuine questions that I had. Will keep this review updated as time passes as this is all new for us. I just hope and pray my loved one will be taken care of here. Sad I don't have any other options but to go with this place because I'm not feeling confident or comfortable at all at this point in time.

I'm seeing negative posts and wondering if these people are where my dad has been for FIVE years and still going strong.
Gotta name names to dispel myths I guess. The Director of Nursing is Vicki , she is super involved and has a well oiled machine where the nursing is involved.

I have had nothing but super interactions with here and the unit managers Wendy and Sierra. My dad has been on both the rehab side AND long-term care side. Though some faces have changed over the years (five so it happens) the level and quality of care hasn't decreased but increased. Special shout outs to Nurses Didi Jason and Lily in particular.

I feel safe in the care they give. My mom is in the rehab side right now sadly but her aide Connie is super compassionate, also Shayna who manages to get my mom to laugh which never happens.
Also Lerona AND Cory who handle transport which saves my life on a regular basis as I am unable to take my parents to their zillions of appointments.

Someone I really wanna highlight as well is the new customer service concierge Tracy. This woman elevates the facility, she SEES everyone and you feel not only seen and heard but genuinely cared for. The cleaning staff do a great job, and Gina always says hello which makes a difference. I also thank activitys and the the therapy people because it all flows together quite smoothly.

I know this is long but after seeing these reviews I really had to say something because it simply is bullshirt. the last year alone has really turned this place into something that for ME is a godsend..

Since this is part of an Senior center, the rehab portion of this place is next to nothing. My father was in this place for rehab and we as the family were constantly lied to whenever we brought issues up to the nurses, my father never saw a doctor because they only come at 1:00 in the morning, we sent food to him through doordash and the nurses stole it, The rooms were like dungeons and were drab and depressing, and the food was atrocious. When it came to the food My father was told that they could not give him a diabetic meal because they didn't provide that, and they kept on feeding him mostly sandwiches, especially on the weekends. The attendants were nice, but very incompetent. I can't believe that in this day and age our elderly are still cared for so horribly. There should be a law. It's just as easy to run a cheerful well-maintained facility as it is to allow your facility to become like this place. Don't pay attention to other reviews because I believe that they have their employees do reviews on these places

Had hip replacement surgery. I kind of felt I was being challenged to do more than I was supposed to each week post hip replacement surgery. I finished at 7 times, 3 week post surgery. When I looked up what I should have been doing at 3 weeks, I was doing thing that shouldn't be till 6 or 8 weeks. Not sure if tgey look at the chart enough to know what point you are?at post surgery. Just be sure to remind them what point you are at. Otherwise very nice staff

Great facility and staff!!! Took amazing care of my Mother. Would highly recommend and no hesitations on going back. A+++++
