My experience with Arete was great. I was grateful for the staff and satisfied on all levels. They took their time to poor into every client relationship they were assigned to. Even though clients made it difficult at times, they remained professional and never strayed from the task at hand. I saw the cohesiveness and interaction amongst staff which helped me out in so many ways. The therapist/councilors Althea, Gus, Janine, and Berta were very informative especially when it came to sharing information and personal experiences that I related to. Brooke was outstanding as well. Along with sharing her experience she also did a follow up after my discharge. Brooke also showed her concern and support after leaving the facility. I also know the community of clients I was so proud to be apart of benefited as well. We all are going to stay connected by way of a Facebook group. I just want to say that if you are serious about your recovery Arete is just a call away.

This is definitely the best treatment center I have been to. The staff really cares on a personal level. They were there for me whenever needed them. They helped me change everything about myself, without them I wouldn’t have gotten sober or knew how to stay sober. Today I have 1,330 days clean. I own a home, a new car, I have two beautiful children and an amazing husband. I have my license back, I am a trustworthy employee, an honest person.

Arete recovery saved my life. They gave me the tools I needed to be a productive member to society. They educated me on addiction and certain behaviors I had that kept me returning to treatment. Their staff are amazing and professional and helped out in any way they could. Arete had my recovery process easy but also challenged me to become a better person. I met people from all over the world and it was awesome how some of them people are part of my family today. Arete was there for me when I was ready to change my life thank you for everything.

Arete was an amazing place. While I stayed here and got clean and sober they meet all my need and above. First time as an addict and alcoholic I was introduced to meditation which I still do to this day because of Arete. Food was stellar and can’t forget about Berta and her heart that she put into me. They don’t sugar coat the truth and really want to help in anyone way shape and form.

I went to Arete many times throughout my journey of getting clean! Positive environment and experience for me, especially at such a low point in my life. Maria was my therapist and I absolutely adored her. I had gained weight in there and was crying to her about it. The next day she brought me cute clothes that would fit me and it made me cry. The staff were great and caring food was good especially compared to other facilities I've been too. The rooms were comfortable at most times depending on the roommate. The bath facilities could be a bit better but again definitely seen worse. Nobody likes going to treatment, but they made the uncomfortable more comfortable.

I came through Arete about a year and half ago and been sober ever since. They provided all the needed support and tools to carry out my sobriety when I left there. Case management (Amanda) was awesome and help me with court issues that I cannot do alone. Alumni coordinator (Brooke) has been awesome coordinating outside events so I could continue to build relationships with people in sobriety. Sobriety isn’t easy but this place was a good steppingstone for my first step.

Arete was great for me to start my road to recovery. They made sure all my needs were met and they made sure I was comfortable. The therapist and facilitators at Arete are phenomenal! I got a lot from Glenn who is one of the facilitators,he is remarkable! Also my therapist was there to help me with any issue that I had. I owe a lot to Arete for helping me on my road to recovery and would highly recommend this program to anyone who is ready to begin their road to recovery!
