Lisa the MRI tech was amazing. I was nervous and she made me super comfortable. I wouldn’t have been able to get the test done without her. I’d recommend to anyone who has a problem with a traditional mri

I don’t know about anyone else’s experience but Wantaugh MRI is fantastic. My disabled daughter went there for a much needed MRI and Katie and Rick the technician went above and beyond to help her in the stand up MRI. I can’t thank you enough! You guys are wonderful. Thank you so much.

Been to Stand up MRI a few times and the staff is very nice & Friendly. Especially the technician was very kind and respectful to my Claustraphobia but no problem at all with the machine especially after being in other circumstances with MRI machines. I highly recommend Stand up MRI.

Horrible experience! The pain that I experienced during and after the MRI and still 4 days later is unacceptable and inexcusable! It's considered open but you are literally squeezed into an extremely tight metal space pressing against your body. A tight medal head gear that when I expressed I was in pain was made even tighter! The bar behind my neck was excruciating. The tv is impossible to see with the medal bars in front of my eyes. The loud horrible banging makes it impossible to hear the tv. Calling it open should include intense pain that continues for days. I must mention I did not take the MRI for pain ! Avoid this place!
Had I checked the yelp reviews, id of never come here to be hurt! Check them there are so many that are similar to mine. Reported to my doctor, he will not be making referrals here anymore!

I feel like I was BLESSED to find this location. The staff is amazing!! The tech was easy going and the doctor was more skilled than.when I get my blood draws. Needing an open MRI AND contrast I was desperate After being painfully stuck 10 times by 3 technicians at another imaging location, I made an appointment that would sedate me for a regular MRI. Then I got a call offering a spot the next afternoon with a doctor giving the IV. He was FANTASTIC!!! Thank you WANTAGH STAND UP MRI.

Stand Up MRI was excellent from the front desk to the Technician Rick who helped make the experience like a walk in the park for me. I had two MRI's in a row with virtually no claustrophic feeling at all. All I felt was the pain in my neck that is always with me but no panicking feeling at all, unlike previous times in the past. They are super organized at Wantagh Stand Up and super courteous and accomodating. My wife sat in the MRI room right across from me and you of course have your large flat screen FIOS programming to help make you at ease. Rick the Tech and the intake guy at the front desk both get 5 Stars. I'll be back there for my next one. A turkey shoot for a super claustrophobe - lol.

I'm very claustrophobic and had a stand up MRI done in another location a couple of years ago that I had a bad experience with. I was very nervous to come here and get another MRI done but it turns out I had nothing to worry about. The woman at the desk was very sweet and had me and my boyfriend laughing from the start which helped calm my nerves. She even offered earplugs which I wasn't offered at my last one and it helped tremendously. The man who did my MRI told me what to expect and got me finished up quickly, then commented on how still I was for the half an hour I was in there which made me feel good knowing the pictures came out well and wouldn't have to be redone. The experience overall was much better than the last one in a different location and I'll definitely be coming back here if I need to in the future. Thank you for helping someone who was so nervous feel so calm!

I have been going to this facility for years . I have to say everyone is pleasant and just delightful. Every time I had an MRI, whoever took it was explained every thing to me.
Honestly, I would not go any place else for my standup MRI
