My husband and I had to move his Dad into a skilled nursing rehab facility to recover from a horrible fall. The place was always clean, and all staff were very attentive at all hours.
The nurses, all staff, and physical therapists were great. The admin team worked with Medicare and insurance, helping us on the paperwork side.

I just admitted my mom to Heritage Hall in Leesburg a few days ago, and I have to say the experience was really great. The whole team worked together to make the transition as easy on my mom as possible. Time will tell, but I already have a good feeling about the kinds of activities she's involved in, and the plan for her care. And you really can't beat that beautiful courtyard that the residents have to sit in.

When my dad arrived at Heritage Hall someone told me - it’s not the newest facility but the people are the best. In our experience this was the absolute truth. We were blessed to have a wonderful care team including Alvin, Mae, Patrice, Ann, Julia and so many others. Jen and the therapy team challenged dad and he made significant progress. Were there ups and downs? Yes. Were there things I would improve probably but show me anything in life you wouldn’t want to improve especially in healthcare for our aging population. Thanks to the entire Heritage team. Should we need this level of care in the future, Andy and Andrea should expect my phone call.

My mother was a resident at your place the last couple months of her life, as she was dying from cancer almost 6 years ago. Back then, I was there nearly every day to see her. I cannot begin to give enough praise to your staff for the attention and care they gave to her in her final months, the compassion and empathy that was given to me, and to the assistance that was provided as she went through hospice.

This was, undoubtedly, the most difficult time of her life... and unquestionably so for me too. It takes very special people with extraordinary qualities to do everything you do every day, and you do it well.

Heritage Hall provided comprehensive and supportive care throughout my mother's stay of 4 weeks. We had to move her from another facility because of low staffing and lack of appropriate care. The difference we felt upon arrival at Heritage Hall was maintained throughout her stay. Wound care, the thoroughness and response of nurses and aid staff, PT and OT, the social work team and intake/administration all made us feel as if her physical and mental health were a priority every day. We highly recommend Heritage Hall to anyone in need of Rehab.

Last year, I had a severe illness that almost took my life. I was at Inova Loudoun for two+ weeks then moved to Heritage Hall for two weeks of rehabilitation. I cannot praise the nursing staff enough for their care and concern--not only for me, but as I saw, for all patients under their care. Unfortunately, I don't have names to quote but be assured that all staff is there to take the best care possible for all. No matter when or how often I pressed that button, someone came and was pleasant and responsive. Also, high praise for the PT staff, all of whom, made it a point to work with me to my ability to increase my strength. All of the facilities are very clean and welcoming. I was lucky that my room was across from the desk so if my need was not urgent, I could walk out and speak so that the nurse on duty need not have to get up to come to my room. Anytime, I asked, it was taken care of. Because I had a temporary colostomy bag, that posed additional needs. I was totally unprepared for that and staff took time to help and teach me. The social worker, Andy Robinson, is great at boosting morale and extremely kind in listening as I would want to chat, sometimes, holding him up as he certainly had plenty of other patients to assist. He did not hesitate to offer his support and his shoulder. For anyone reading this, do not hesitate to take your family, your loved ones, yourself to this facility. Other facilities may have more glitz, but Heritage Hall has love and concern for the patient's health and reaching the set goal for recovery. I thank everyone at Heritage Hall for all you did for me as I would not be as self-sufficient as I am now without your care.

Heritage Hall staff is like a big family! My 90 year old dad is on his second stay there and this time around my family and I were not concerned or worried whatsoever. We knew he would be in good hands. Its natural to worry the first time a loved one has to go to a facility. Within one day, we knew he would be taken excellent care of! This time around, he was welcomed back like family! We know when Grandpa give a double thumbs up, its pretty impressive! What you can expect from Heritage Hall: kindness, professionalism, empathy and comfort. If your loved one can't be home, this is the next best place to be.

I believe Hertiage Hall is Over-Medicating difficult patients. They slowly remove their meds before their doctor’s visits and then increase them again afterwards. It is a know fact by many family members. Something isn’t right here when patients are so drugged you can’t wake them up. Why can’t the doctor see them in their current drugged state, is odd too. Our family member stays in a comatose state most of the day and then is awake and alert again after the weaning off period. Disturbing and they are short staffed maybe another reason so they don’t have to deal with the patients properly. I would absolutely not put your loved ones in this place. Please share if you have witnessed the same issue. Looking into reporting it. Thank you.
