Would rate at -5 stars if possible. Clothes were constantly stolen, no communication between staff and patient, never given all information for stay in regards to things like laundry or any other services during my entire 7 month long admittance. Rehab center, no it was more like a prison.

I am impressed with the treatment my friend is receiving. You have lots of activities for your patients. Really the only negative remark I have is that you're short-staffed; your nurses & aides are spread too thin.

My father had a short stay at Bishop. My sister and I had cared for him at home for almost a year. He had terminal cancer, and when hospice was suggested, he was not interested.
His final few weeks became more than we were equipped to handle on our own. Hospice was not freely available when we found we needed them. Bishop helped us manage his final days.
My father could hear, but was not able to communicate, or move, but he was treated with respect. Because he was comfort care we were able to visit any time, and we did with no problems.
The teamwork involved in care was impressive. The staff was attentive, warm, welcoming, and empathetic to the end of life care, for both my father and my family.
We felt comfortable enough to go home for some sleep. The medical provider was very open to our wishes about his care, which allowed us to feel confident about his treatment when we were not right at his bedside. This was very important.
The decor needs updating, but what lacks in decor was made up for in the positive energy of the staff that I encountered, from social work, aides, nursing, and welcome wagon. I’m thankful for all of the people involved with his care at Bishop.

Place was fairly clean. We did encounter a beggar in the parking lot asking for money. My sister's call button has not worked for weeks. Staff doesn't tend to my sisters needs in a timely manner. Staff is friendly but it appeared that requests from staff were not always met. We were told she would get a shower every Friday but that didn't happen, we did request that be done. An aid said she would do it but never did, next shift found another aid who finally did it. Makes me believe things don't get done unless a family member there all the time.

Well, today they have never taken her to activities and she needs better care. Her legs are very swollen as if there were insects that stung her. I hope they give her medicine for her legs.

Facility is clean and staff is friendly. I like to give recognition to Jay with the maintenance department. I have spoke to him in the hallway on multiple occasions. He’s very polite and has a positive energy. You should be proud to have him on staff.
