Started program 10/2021 Finished treatment in November of 2021. Just made 3 years sober a few days ago and I couldn't be more grateful to the staff at New Choices. The friendships and family that you make and get to take with you are such a huge blessing. I've referred friends who have managed to get through the program and are sober to this day as well. This program is a selfish program at least that's the mindset that I went in with. If I was going to have 30 days to get my shit together, you better believe I was going to make this program work for me. Can't say a negative thing about this program, facility or employees all top notch, absolute treasures. Thanks NCTC!

New Choices has saved and changed my life!!! They really do care about people who are suffering and have the life experiences and tools to help discover the real you. I have never felt I was normal or truly loved until I found this program. Everything from real therapist that have been in recovery and truly understand to the group classes on everything from mindfulness to hulterculter was life changing for me. The facilities are clean and safe and incorporate healthy eating, crossfit style exercise for all levels, yoga and meditation. They are active in several 12 step programs and activities that help with proving I can lead a clean and sober happy lifestyle. This is a 30 to 90 day program and I actually stayed a full 100 days as a resident. I just completed the 8 week intensive outpatient program and now have over 5 months clean and sober. This is a record for me personally. I am also actively involved in their Alumni program. I can't say enough about New Choices Treatment Center and highly recommend this life changing recovery community.!!!

After being sober for 4 years I went in for probationary reasons. Danny is the only good one. Avoid the “principal” Lora avoid the RC lead Mel don’t expect human decency you won’t get it. Don’t expect respect you won’t get it. My mental health took a viral decline after my stay. Just don’t. There are better places to go.

My name is Jeremiah S. So I transfered to New Choices from another facility 30 days into my recovery journey. Don't get me wrong, the place I was at was like a weekend retreat type of place. Although I loved it there, it wasn't really the place I needed to show me how to get my life started again. I got that learning and understanding from my 90 day stay at New Choices. I will be honest and say my first week there was hard for me. They have a structured routine and rules that I first had to learn to accept. I am very thankful for that as isn't that how life really is? I am ,as of this writing, 1 year and 7 months into my recovery and I can honestly and truthful say I wouldn't have came this far without the things I learnt, the people I met, and the things I was taught at New Choices. I would definitely recommend this treatment center to anyone willing and truly ready to change the way they are living. I am truly greatful and thankful to All the staff, nurses, RC's and counselors there. Oh by that way I read some place down on the comments about rats and being forced to write positive reveiws... I never saw any rats in my house nor would I ever let myself be forced to write anything positive about a place I had a negative experience at.

If you are truly ready to escape the personal hell that addiction has on your life, to really break free, I can not recommend New Choices enough. This place saved my life and amazing things are happening there. There were too many miracles of transformation I witnessed with my own eyes to not shout it from the rooftops. I will say, you will receive what you put into it. You will have to put in the work. The entire process will challenge you, but it's all for a bigger purpose to keep you sober. To finally be free and live the life you have always dreamed of.

Huge shout-outs to Rob, a counselor there that I know I was destined to meet. He is brilliant. Danny, the meditation teacher, reintroduced me to meditation (I had completely forgotten how healing it is.) His mindfulness classes were always something I looked forward to and taught me self-compassion, something I hadn't done in way too long. Robert, the horticulture teacher, teaches the beauty and lessons we can all learn from plants. The main Chef there is a 5-star chef with I believe 2 Michelin stars with a tomato basil soup that is truly world class (and the salad bar slays). Other shout-outs I want to give out are Brenda, a nurse who truly cares and got me through some HARD times y'all, Nadine and Mike (both I will never forget), Katrina the Clinical Director who's feedback permanently changed the trajectory of my life, Val and Chris who both helped immensely when I wanted to give up and leave when I was so close to the finish line, and Jerome- an amazing and wise teacher. Kathy, my case manager, went above and beyond to help guide me on my path of early recovery. Finally, a shout out to Alexia, the evening cook, and Stephanie, Parker, Melody, Brett, Dustin, Casey, and Ralphie. Thank you for all of the laughs and conversation (and great music!)

Oh, and how could I forget about the personal trainers Jeff and Dess, who both are phenomenal. I got IN SHAPE there thanks to their incredible expertise. I always looked forward to working out with them. They also have an amazing yoga instructor whose classes always provided deep healing as I worked through so much suppressed grief.

I will look back on my time at New Choices Residential Treatment as the time I became a man. If you are willing to be open-minded, honest, and vulnerable and truly wanting to heal your life, look no further. I have been on my healing journey for over 20 years, and I finally experienced the profound and permanent healing I had been craving most of my life.

I am currently in the Virtual Outpatient Program with Taylor, who continues to blow me away with her expertise and compassion. New Choices also has an alumni meeting every Friday, which I look forward to each week.

From top to bottom, this treatment center truly cares. I know without a doubt my higher power had me come here. And I've learned that sometimes my higher power is the people around me, because they get it and together we are stronger than we are alone.

The opposite of addiction is connection, and I am grateful to say I finally found my tribe after decades of feeling so alone whether dealing with chronic illness, sexual orientation struggles, and/or addiction. It does not matter your financial situation, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religious views (or lack thereof), or race. You are welcome there and all they care about is saving your life and watching you soar. New Choices, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything.

I came to new choices after referring three addicts but myself had not even admitted I was an addict. Then I hit rock bottom, it was my turn to take my own advice and go to treatment. The experience was so intense that I extended after my 30 days was up. I left residential after 45 days and entered into the intensive out patient program and completed 75 days. I am proud to say I am a recovered addict and have been clean for 138 days now. NCTC has played a major part of my recovery journey.

New Choices gave me the ability to turn my life around and save MYSELF from a life of depression, fear and misery. I spent a total of 99 days in residential treatment and am now doing an additional 8 weeks of IOP treatment. The tools and skills I learned are gifts that I will use in every facet of my life, to not only stay Clean & Sober, but to be the best version of myself in all walks of life. NCTC has blessed me with a community of dedicated individuals that are committed to their own sobriety and the sobriety of the fellow brothers and sisters in recovery. My journey at NCTC was, is and will continue to be a Discovery of choices that have brought me strength, courage and wisdom. If I could give this place an 0 I would, please don't go to this low budget treatment center. I was there for about 2 weeks and decided to leave. The staff is horrible, one of the nurses was sleeping/ messing with client. It seems like most of the employees need a drug test because it's obvious that something is going on. We have to stand outside until it's our turn at the window for medication even when it's raining outside. We have seen rats in our rooms and have told them but nothing has been done. We were micromanaged the whole time I was there, rc are horrible and very rude. Desi, alexia, Micheal and Ana are wonderful and deserve way more praising them they are getting. I know for sure some of there employees would come up dirty if a random/ secret drug test was done.
