I visited my friend there this afternoon and was impressed with the level of service. The caretakers (NP and SLP) and aides were very competent and caring. They listened well and patiently and spent a lot of time with my friend. I was impressed. The food looked good and the facility was clean and quiet. .

My 88 year-old neighbor just transitioned from the hospital to Cherrydale. I was so relieved and happy to meet the nursing staff this morning, Margaret, Natalie, and one other woman. They were kind, cheerful, and helpful. It really put my neighbor at ease and she told me about the French toast, orange juice, and tea she had for breakfast. My other neighbor visited later and said the OT seems good too. Thank you, Cherrydale Rehab!

My friend was discharged and The family was not given instructions on how to care for their loved one. Cherrydale social worker did not assure that they had what they needed at home. They did not set up Homehealth aid or nurse visits for a patient who is unable to walk or talk. Or notify the insurance company of the patients needs at home. They also lost his wheelchair!!! They just informed the family that his stay was no longer covered pay up or go we need the bed.

The medical staff's quality of care was subpar. Numerous patients' requests for attention went unanswered for extended periods, while the staff engaged in idle conversation at the medical station. Empathy was lacking. A loved one was discharged without verifying if they had sufficient medication or if the pharmacy had the necessary medications.

At this place, we’re going on seven months and this is nice that I was here. They’re never at full staff. They’re always short staffed. Should be one to 10 people. You’re lucky if it’s one to 20 most of the time it’s one to 60 or whatever workforce is always spread south and they cannot do their job, the owner should be ashamed of ourselves. I have been to the hospital three times since I’ve been here two times because of their negligence every time I go to the hospital make a comment on another one from Cherrydale. They have such a bad reputation. it’s unbelievable. Don’t believe any of the so-called good things about this place cause there are none. The only thing that’s good was the Physical therapy. I will say that , but other than that, they’re negligent they’re and they just don’t care. The good thing or the bad thing is on a weekend come 3 o’clock all the senior Mangement out here you ain’t going to see them. They may show back up on Monday. that’s why all the players here play , the captains are gone if you know what I mean anyway I can only read it as a hell

Giving it 2 stars to acknowledge the physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals that worked with my mother, and for Lee, the wonderful nurse. My mother stayed at this facility from Nov 16-25th of 2023 after a couple of weeks in the hospital. The physical therapy was great and we saw results right away. The conditions of the place leave much to be desired, the place could definitely use a renovation. My mother fell the first night she was there and no one informed me of this, I only know because she told me and it was confirmed because they switched her to a room closer to the nursing station so they could keep an eye on her. This was also not informed to me, I found out she had been moved to a new room when I called the next day. I remember telling one of the social workers during the discharge process about that incident and she just stared at me. Most of the staff with whom I interacted, with the exception of the therapy team, and a couple of the nurses, was unprofessional. From the moment you walk in, the receptionist acts like she’s bothered by even the slightest question or request for assistance. If your loved one has to spend any amount of time here I suggest you go EVERY single day to check on them. If you are unable to do so, call (they’re hard to reach but be persistent). Just do whatever possible to make sure they know you’re present and involved in the care of your loved one. I must also add that my mom was on the 5th floor which is meant to be for temporary stays, I believe there are other floors in the building, cannot speak for the staff or conditions in those other floors.
