I am so happy that Boise has a place like this! As someone who has struggled with various forms of eating disorders over the years, there hasn't been a lot of local support/ resources.

The staff at Center for Change were caring and helpful. They were knowledgeable and treated patients with respect, while also making sure we understood that we each owned our path to recovery. They don't just try to heal the eating disorder, they focus on the person.

Nicole Letinsky, my therapist, is amazing! And a prime example of what I mean by that. She takes time to listen to me and has a keen understanding of what therapy fits me best. She is professional, but also personable! She challenges me, while always being the first to remind me of how far I've come. She helps me see the bigger picture. And that isn't something that comes easy for me.

Highly recommend!

I can’t begin to say how grateful I am for this place. My experience at CFC was life changing and has healed my relationship with food and my body. I’m not perfect, but they have provided the tools for me to combat those intrusive thoughts that still come.

My treatment plan was three days a week for three hours a day, a weekly meeting with the dietician and my therapist and i was there for about 2 months. I LOVED that I was able to choose which group treatment I attended. They have MANY options that taught me SO much about my body, and nutrient dense foods, and ways to express your emotions.

My therapist was Nicole Letinsky and she was INCREDIBLE. She hyped me up when I needed it, helped me restore my relationship with food and my body, and also helped me in many other aspects of my life (e.g., depression, people pleasing, anxiety, etc.). While it was HARD to hear a lot of the feedback I was given, I absolutely loved my time with Nicole.

The community of group treatment was SO good, it built my confidence in knowing I was not alone. And, I had a support system of all ages and walks of life.

My only complaints are that when I was registered, someone a little more outside of the company who helped me sign documents told me treatment would be one month. When I hit that one month mark and wasn’t discharged I was a little frustrated.

Meal times were also difficult for me because it was always SO quiet (so I would eat super fast to fill the void). We would do group questions which was helpful part of the time. We would also get boosted if we didn’t eat all of our food on our plate (which makes sense). But, later into my treatment process where I felt confident in practicing intuitive eating (like we were taught in treatment) I would still get boosted if I ate till I was full.

This was DEFINITELY a humbling experience and despite my personal indifference with some practices I would still give them 5 stars. This place and the staff were life saving.

I recommend Center for Change for anyone challenged with disordered eating. The staff and clinicians know what they are doing when it comes to treating eating disorders. A disease that has challenged me my entire life. They are professional, knowledgeable, use up to date best practices and balance this with compassion, kindness and encouragement. I put my complete trust in them and have found a new way of life, loving my body, connecting with others and developing a healthy relationship with food.

I am honestly shocked at these negative reviews. I'm 38 and spent three months in PHP here and it was life-changing. The staff is incredible, kind, I loved my therapist and the nurse was wonderful. The food here is excellent. The group therapy sessions were incredible. I loved music therapy and art therapy. The content of the curriculum is all evidence-based. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

For background, I developed an eating disorder when I was 16 years old and first sought treatment when I was 47 years old, less than 6 months ago and my progress has been seriously miraculous. I started with a therapist, Glory Wanless, who recommended me to Danielle Rhodes, a dietician at CFC, who both recommended me to a doctor, Catherine Reynolds. This team of professionals has been incredible and I immediately had to make significant changes for them to ethically continue to have me go through the program out patient. I could not do in patient because I have a now 13 year old son, 3 dogs, and my husband travels regularly. They trusted me when I gave my word that I would commit fully to their program. It has been challenging and scary throughout, but with my team’s support, I know I can do anything when I commit to it. I had no idea how sick I was, though everyone around me did. I’m still going through this healing journey and I know that in the future, I will eventually be able to eat intuitively and not let food rule my life. There is too much to live for and fun to be had, and I love life and all the people I am blessed with. I am incredibly thankful for Danielle, not only has she been an incredible dietician for me, I connect with her on all levels and I just love her as a person and a friend. Living with an eating disorder is no way to live. When you are ready to seek help, CFC will be there for you every step of the way! I am eternally grateful to Danielle and the joy and peace she has already brought to my life in this short amount of time, and my family and friends are as well!

This place is a great place, the people here are amazing and wonderful. They help you with anything. The food was good, but they put too much cheese on their food. Loved this place! My favorite group was cooking group because we made some yummy stuff.
