I was recently a patient at Encompass in Lutz for 3 weeks. This was a fantastic facility. Newly built, state of the art, and an amazing staff! Everyone from my case manager, to my nurses to my PT and OT staff were so great and so helpful! They really helped me feel at home. I wish I could list everyone but special shout out to Megan (PT) and her crew in the “big gym” as well as Ann in (OT) they had me walking again and ready for discharge to safely return home. I will be forever grateful!

I have been trying to write this review for a few days and I still feel like I can’t find the right words to express my gratitude to the entire team at Encompass. I came into their facility completely unable to get out of bed. On my first day there, Michael ensured that I could use the toilet and take a shower making me feel human again and like my opinion and feelings mattered. I worked with Samantha in PT but the entire team helped get me home without a walker or wheelchair. I did three hours of therapy a day. In PT Megan, Shivi, Robert, Judy the tech team Cam, Kai, and Laura, the OT team Marshay, Joseph, Celia, Ann (both of them), Joel, Heather Speech Alexa and Nicole and so many more I could go all day naming people. The facility has high-tech equipment to help even the worst injury improve. They never promised me I would walk, but they promised me they would help me achieve my goal as much as possible every day. They were all compassionate, empathetic, patient, caring, supportive, at times I truly felt like they treat you as if you were a family member of theirs. I have a toddler at home and was determined to get back to walking and getting in the ground with him to play. The entire team made my goals their goals and before I knew it I was on the ground and getting up again as well as walking. We even made it fun and played basket ball and volley ball once I was well enough to do so. If I ever have another episode of GBS I know where I will be going for my rehab. They all feel like extended family and I can’t ever repay them for giving me my life back.

You took excellent care of my friend who had a stroke and has lost the left side of her body. Samantha is Awesome for PT. All her nurses took excellent care of her. Brandon Hospital sent her with bleeding sores, no shower for 2 weeks. Encompass is the Best place for anyone needing rehab. Great Job!!

It was a fantastic stay. The staff and everyone involved in helping to get me through the trsma of two surgeries in three weeks. The care by the nurses and the techs, making you feel comfortable when you are most venerable. The PT and OT staff doing everything they can to make you stronger.
and listening to your goals snd helping you achieve them. The facility is emasculate. .It deserves a five star rating.

Everyone from nurses to techs, administrators and therapists were compassionate and respectful to my husband who had a stroke. The therapy equipment and therapists were stellar. The administrative staff were amazing in providing all the information we needed to make things happen smoothly. I would recommend encompass to anyone who is seeking an inpatient rehab facility.

My husband was transferred to Encompass from St Joseph’s Main hospital following a stroke. He was a resident there at Encompass for 2 weeks. Thanks to the therapists providing excellent care and superb therapy, his progress was outstanding. He continues to recover with home health- speech therapy and physical therapy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Encompass North to anyone looking for an acute short term rehab facility. What a Blessing.

My mother went to Encompass post stroke for intense rehab. I have some experience with rehabs from my in-laws. Encompass in Lutz far surpassed my expectations. Everyone from the staff to OT, speech and PT are amazing. Our PT Samantha is one of the most caring, professional and proficient people I have encountered in the health care industry. She went above and beyond for our family and I am forever grateful. Their expertise along with their compassionate care made such a difference to my mother and our family. I would recommend them to anyone whose loved ones need intensive rehabilitation therapies.
