If I could, I would give it zero stars. We took my mother there for respite care and planned for her to be there for 5 days. We went to visit her on a Sunday, intending to pick her up on the following Tuesday. But after observing the interaction with the nurse, we decided to take her out the following day. The nurse came in and I could already feel her negativity towards my mother, like she was irritated that my mother needed to use the restroom. We realized at that time that they had put diapers on her, but she didn't need to wear diapers. When the nurse removed her cannula, she just tossed it up, striking my mother in the face with it. I know that it wouldn't cause damage, but it was still disrespectful. She took my mother to the restroom in a huff and anxiously waited outside the door. When the nurse brought her back and helped her back in bed, she roughly picked her up to adjust her in bed. Once she was done, she hurriedly walked out of the room, stripped her gloves off and murmured, I'm going to break. That was pretty much the last straw. We picked her up that next day and that night my wife noticed that she had diaper rash. That Tuesday morning, my mother had her normal visit from an aid for a shower and the nurse from Vitas was also there for a normal visit. They were a little concerned about the diaper rash, so they asked mother about it. She then stated that she was told by the nurses that if she needed to go to the restroom, that she just needed to go in the diaper and they would clean her up later. I really don't think that is something she would just make up. The nurse looked her over and noticed some slight bruising around her knees, looking similar to fingerprints. That's probably from the rough handling of getting her into bed. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Breezy Hills provides exceptional care and rehabilitation services. The facility is clean and welcoming, and the staff are professional and compassionate. The personalized therapy programs are highly effective. Communication is excellent, and with Brenda in Social Services and the nursing staff being always available to answer questions and provide updates on patient progress. It’s clear that the well-being and recovery of their patients are their top priorities.

Overall, Breezy Hills exceeds expectations in every aspect. I highly recommend this center to anyone in need of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Thank you for your outstanding care and dedication!

My Grandmother was recently admitted to Breezy Hills and I was very satisfied with her care. Brenda went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of. Breezy hills will always be the rehab facility that I use.

Having attended a care plan meeting, I can tell the administration is really caring and wants to do right for patients. When it came time to discharge Brenda walked me through the discharge process and made the transition back home so much easier for us. Thankful for the good care at Breezy.

My dad is currently ay Breezy Hills recovering from injuries sustained during a car crash. Although the facility itself is old and could use some paint and new furniture, the care that dad has received has far exceeded my expectations. His PT team has been just terrific and has really encouraged him to work through the pain so that he can recover. The CNA's are attentive and caring. Brenda, the social worker and Khadajia the office manager have been instrumental in helping me navigate the complexities of the Medicare/Medicaid system. My calls are returned promptly and I am kept up to date on my Dad's progress. I don't live locally, so I really depend on the staff to keep me up to date. I've had a LOT of questions, but was never made to feel like I was bothering anyone by asking. Thank you for all you do.

The staff at Breezy Hills are kind and professional. The physical therapists are knowledgeable and motivating. Jamie visited my mom often and made her feel comfortable.

I was here for 2 was. The staff was very pleasant. Very caring for your needs. It's an older place, but very clean and well kept. The only thing l disliked was the breakfast. That Sucked!!!! Food was cold and toast was not toasted. The lunch and dinners were good. No problems with them. It was very easy to get to. Just off l - 4 laterstate Hwy.
I was here for rehabilitation. I would give that a 5 star. Very Professional People. Thanks to all of you!!!

My mom has been at Breezy Hills twice for rehab, once after hip surgery and again after an infection. The nurses and aids were very attentive to her needs. The Nurse Practitioner, Arlene, who followed her care was amazing!! The whole rehab team; Megan, Alison, Jay, Brianna, Gerry and Amy are just fantastic at motivating her to push herself a little farther each time. Jay also painted her nails for her birthday! Brenda did a great job insuring that home health and follow up appointments were all ready when she discharged. Thank you all for all that you do!!
