I have had my mom here for about a month now. The staff is amazing. Therapy has worked wonders and they are all so caring. I have to say from the administrator Sandra, unit manager Nikole to housekeeping everyone always has a smile and willing to help. Highly recommend

I’ve met an angel here and her name is Anabet. I’ve never seen anyone with such an incredible work ethic. She is bright, cheerful, and compassionate. She has been helping heal people here for over 15 years. She has made my stay here in rehab a positive experience. I believe she is why the rehab has 5 stars due to her excellent care. Thank God for Anabet. Please give her a well deserved raise.

I would not work here. I have never been treated so bad at a job. The administrator is the rudest person I've ever met in my life. I never received proper training for my job but was expected to know everything. I was there for 3 months and received an annual performance evaluation and everything was marked needs improvement, of course I need improvement because i had never been in a director role. But then I was told I needed to write a letter on how I was going to fix the issues. There have been 3 social service managers in a year at this building, well now 4. I had been spoken to in a rudely manner that was unprofessional and unexceptable in front of other employees multiple times. There are times I tried to be funny, joke around and and the response I would get was, I was not talking to you, I'm sick of this, or I'm done. I asked for training on something that was new and I was told that its self explanatory. Other people are treated horrible as well. There is no positive work environment. Its a hostile work place. It's all negative. Instead of helping each other, people want to run and tell like its high school.

The worst nursing home ever!! STATE needs to be called!!!! It’s GHETTO, DIRTY, And UNPROFESSIONAL!!! And VERY LIMITED supplies FOR THE RESIDENTS!!! HORRIBLE PLACE to work or to have your love one!

As I already said! It’s UNPROFESSIONAL! Had it not been then maybe you would have “COMMUNICATED” with me BEFORE I made this review because I reach out to try to COMMUNICATE outside of this google review! Not one phone call returned so this is what it comes down to. I will not be deleting anything! WHAT’S INAPPROPRIATE about the TRUTH? Let’s not hide the truth! Thank You!

I am the mother of my boys’ Nana, Joyce C. All the staff and encounters I have had with staff has been great. But one particular staff member, Lisa she does activities with the residents. Lisa is so patient, kind with the best sense of humor. She can get a laugh out of anyone. She’s fun and entertaining. She is Joyce’s absolute favorite. It can be sad and depressing if you don’t have any visitors or it’s a gloomy day. Lisa tries her best to get all the residents to come enjoy some fun games. Kudos Lisa!?

The worst rehabilitation center ever! Dirty, inedible food, and nurses that should be patients! DON'T let your loved ones stay here! The nurse tried to give my father his insulin without a NEEDLE! he had to do it himself! This is after they had none of his medications and we had to bring all of his meds from home! The worst food ever! They only give each patient 1 styrofoam cup and fill it with ice water served from a cooler! My father was at manatee memorial hospital for 32 days and the care was excellent! We were referred to Riverra Palms for PT and it was terrible! It took 3 days to get him transferred out to another rehab center! Thank god! He is now at Freedom village doing great! Make sure to check out places you are going to send your loved ones to. Lesson learned!
