TIME FOR A REAL REVIEW!
This is a review to really help someone who has to make a decision on where to place a loved one for care. I was face with a decision that had to be made quickly for short term care for my father and mistakenly chose this facility due to the pictures and reviews. The social worker told me to be careful of 5 star reviews because they were not all true and she was correct. This facility isn't all bad for short term but it's very dated and the food is terrible. I made sure to try and bring food for my father while he was rehabilitating. The place was literally under construction and the big outdoor pool area on the website was non existent. Some of the staff was attentive but I feel for the price they charge the elderly..it should at least provide a more quality meal. The phones in the room don't even work. I had to leave a cell phone for my father just to check on him. True advertising and quality of food should be the start of fixing the many issues with this facility. Sad part is with my current knowledge of nursing homes...it seems most are like this. Especially medicaid facilities. Do your best to go see the facility in person before you decide to place a loved on there. Make a decision because it's like the lesser of the two evils with these places. Proof in the pictures.

My mom has been staying here and so far, I have no complaints. The nurses are very attentive, and are a ton of activities for the patient. The only I would like to see more of is getting the patient outdoors especially in the summer time. But I'm happy with the care my mother is getting.

This facility is very dated. You have to make a complaint just to have housekeeping to come clean the rooms. The beds have no safety rails. The majority of the staff doesn't have ID and they show no compassion for the patients who are unable to speak for themselves. Communication is none between family and staff who are interested in the care of they loved ones. The nurses are very rude when you ask questions like they're bothered or they wave you off because they don't want to deal with people. Please advocate for your loved ones especially if they are incapable of speaking for themselves. This place is horrible.

My father has recently become a resident at FT. From the time of his late night arrival, we have found the staff to be attentive and welcoming. The staff has worked as a team to address his needs. Adjustments were made quickly to meet his immediate needs and safety, while making sure that as a family, we understood the reasoning and importance of the changes. His therapy assessments began on Friday, his first full day of residency and the services began on Monday. On days when my father has refused to be transported to therapy, therapy has come to him. Staff members who have had no contact with my father regulary greet us and ask if we need anything. The custodial staff works tirelessy to keep the facility clean and safe. Surely, I will forget to name someone but, Beonce, Lara, Darla, Gerri, and Pearla have been wonderful. There are not enough words to describe Nurse Shadow. Amazing, attentive, compassionate, patient...
And thanks to Avi, who happened to call when there was a bump in the road, for actively listening to our concerns.

Not great. They are SEVERELY understaffed and getting answers takes forever. My husband was in this facility for over a month and they cleaned his room only twice. It’s disgusting. The mattress is bigger than the actual bed, making it slide down all the time.

Food is TERRIBLE. My family and I brought my husband his three meals every single day because of how bad their food is. We heat our food up in the microwaves and for a few days all three of their microwaves were down. How

The sink in the bathroom in his room was broken the day we got there. We told staff about four times. It was never fixed. Even the elevator floor tiles come off. This place is an actual joke.

Also the fish tanks in the lobby look like they haven’t been cleaned for years. Truly don’t know how those fish are alive.

The PT/OT team are the only saving grace here. There are a few staff on site that are amazing, but that’s it. I would not recommend bringing loved ones here.

UPDATE: I’m updating since the center responded saying I should have talked to someone. When my husband was there I spoke to EVERYONE about these problems. I spoke to the social worker, the front desk, the nursing supervisor on his floor, the Nurse Manager, and the Executive Director Michael Karash. No one helped. Not once.
