Horrible place for rehab. I was brought in on a Fri. at around 3:30 p.m., plopped on a bed and left there. It was over 12 hours before they ever gave me pain medication. Averaging 3 hours to call button response.
Very little English was spoken in this facility, and it took me forever to show the staff how to adjust the wheelchair.
This is where you take your bad parents to die. There is so much more I could say about the place, but there isn't enough typing space or time.
As soon as the wife arrived in the morning, i informed the facility that I was leaving

My mother went there after her hospital stay, the physical therapy was very good. My mom didn't care for the food and staff was light, so after pushing her button she sometimes forgot why she needed someone. The in home visit was thorough but unfortunately insurance didn't pay for anything but one item. We were abruptly told my mom would be discharged after her in home visit and when she was discharged we didn't get any updates to her care except of her medications and that was rushed. There was also supposed to be a class helping me to care for my mom which never happened.

If I could leave no stars I would. This place is awful there rooms have damage to them their cafeteria has what looks like water damage on the ceiling and they just covered it with a bag. They’ve lied multiple times. They weren’t wearing gloves when handling food in the kitchen. They take over 15 min to get to the patients room after pushing the call button. We removed our grandfather before he was supposed to leave because just the smell alone was completely awful. It smelt like urin down the hallways. The main person who works there was disrespectful to his employees and yelled at one of them in front of us.

Went and toured their facility today, along with other facilities. Of the ones I saw today, Summit was by far the most accommodating and efficient of the facilities. Clean and friendly. They were very open about all aspects of the facility and what we could expect for our loved one. This is by far our first choice for a rehab facility for our loved one.

When I selected this facility for my mother it was very difficult as she was leaving a most beautiful facility where everyone knew everyone. The care was fantastic. So I had real concerns, the size of the facility, the number of residents, and much more. She never had to share a room. This was very different and I was really torn about accepting this facility as her new home. However, over time I've been fairly please with her care.
I still feel like it is too institutional the colors in the room are not warm and the curtain between beds are unattractive.
People that work at Summit are very nice and caring. I like my mom's caretakers.
And the office staff.

This place is terrible. There is nothing good about this particular place. People left my mother and ignored her for hours upon hours as she sat in her own mess. My mother kept telling them that her lower back was hurting and she was crying because she was in pain, come to find out that she has shingles, which might be infected because they couldn't take the time to check on her and make sure that she was okay. They had a covid outbreak and instead of keeping patients in their rooms, they just roamed around the hallways. Dad stuff members who had the virus as well. If you are going to bring a family member to any sort of Care facility do not bring them here. My mother was transferred to Sloan's lake after being sent to University for dehydration and not doing too well and sounds like make sure he was okay right away they're the ones that found out that she had shingles and now because this could have been prevented a lot earlier my mother's back in the hospital and she's not doing well. If you sign up to help people and to be there for people then do it. It's not that hard to show compassion to someone. If there was a thing to give negative Stars this place we get 600 billion negative Stars. Do not bring your loved ones here.

Summit Rehabilitation is the third rehab center my husband has been at in the past three months. This is the rehab and care center we have been looking for! I really can't say enough good things about the care and attention my husband (and I) have received at Summit. The courtesy and professionalism here is evident at every level - housekeeping, the kitchen, administration, and all the medical and therapy staff. What most impressed me from the very first encounter was the willingness to listen and ask questions. As a result, the staff here focused on the cause of my husband's situation - not just on the result. Consequently, he is finally being discharged after focused work on what really needed to be done to help him rehab effectively and move forward. Additionally, the facility itself is clean and very well maintained. With several different and attractive lounge areas, it gives the feeling of being at a B and B. And - having dealt with this issue before - while they are located in a residential area, they still have adequate parking. If we ever need a rehab center again, I hope we can get in to Summit.

My mother has been in this dementia facility for six years. She managed to get through the pandemic without getting Covid, and has received nothing but outstanding, loving, caring, and compassionate service from the staff. We have never regretted moving her to this facility.
